That is reality. We've won 1 from 7 home games in the group's. The gap is getting bigger.

A centre back would have been nice but wouldn't have made a difference to the outcome tonight.

Hun * was in his element. Men against boy's. Training match etc etc were just a couple of his keenly voiced party line's..

Not often you'll hear people salivate over a bouncing header off the deck but it was a sublime finish. He was brilliant tonight..

 

Not even real budgets. Just drill stuff for oot the ground in Arabia money. It's all fake now.

 

One thing I always become acutely aware of when we play a top team like that tonight is how much football is a game of layers at the top level. Their players were all interchanging to such a degree that at times it was hard to tell what formation they were playing. In contrast we looked like we were playing in straight lines across the park. I've noticed this before. It looks as though when our players have the ball the only options they have is to go sideways or backwards while when their players have the ball they seem to have options available in all directions.

Nights like tonight are a bit depressing, you kinda become aware of just how limited our team actually is. Which in turn says a lot about the state of the rest of Scottish football because nobody in this country can get near us.

I suppose the difference is we've earned our money whereas the likes of PSG have just had a ton of money tanked into them from oil rich states in the Middle East. Disheartening for the other teams in Scotland, you're right, but I'd find it harder to grudge PSG this sort of team if they'd built it from scratch rather than breaking all sorts of FFP rules with money that isn't even theirs.

 

He's a young lad who made a mistake. What do you want to do? Throw him to the wolves. Give your head a wobble.

 

Just in from the game. I actually didn't think we played all that bad. It's brutal getting beaten by that scoreline but they're just far far better, which is understandable considering the stats regarding how much they've spent. We could maybe have been a bit faster out the traps and getting in about them at the start, but getting any kind of result against these teams happens once in a blue moon I'm afraid.

 

If you acknowledge he made a mistake then don't come on here spouting pish about being proud of him, frankly I'd be embarrassed.
