What a team they are. I'm gutted but we were beaten by a totally different animal tonight whose wealth puts them in another stratosphere from the likes of ourselves. Gone are the days we can consistently compete with these kinds of teams.

The most annoying thing was how easy we made it for an already fantastic football team. We continually gave the ball away, and at times looked absolutely petrified. Showed them far too much respect. I don't even think we upped our game second half, I think they took the foot off the gas, and then when they felt like it, made us look like a wee team again. Major disappointment and embarrassment at home.

No ffs they beat Barca 4-0 last season.

Just listening to Brendan now and he's says he a proud man with a team that gave it their all. They wore their hearts on their sleeves as they always do in Europe.

Onto the next one. Tell me in 2 weeks time if your still embarrassed

Aye, him and Cavani both recognized that. Shame they show class during and after the game and they still get overshadowed by that *.

For a lesson, that is beyond just money and is about fitness desire and mature skill.

Did you see PSG 5-0 Up still getting more than a half dozen players back in the box to defend and defend intelligently en-masse. Seemed like every time there were 2 if not 3 players on any Celtic player who threatened.

Excellent standard, Celtic need to learn from.

Love how BR speaks you just know he'll help Ralston use this to experience.

I was * buckled at that comment man. By far favourite comment on this forum, just hit the right spot.
The hatred for that wee *, Neymar is off the charts. He's an out and out scumbag !
Luckily Ralston didn't take it to heart and just * him off.

Very disappointing, I agree but I don't think that losing heavily to a team that good is embarrassing when you consider the disparity in money available to spend.

    They were a class above

    They were quality.

One of the best teams I've seen at Celtic Park. Thiago Motta, Rabiot and Verratti all world class.

Will take a very good team to beat them this year.

We made it easy for them but it's hard when they move the ball around like they did.

Thought certain players did ok at times tonight.

Gordon, Ralston, Lustig, Simunovic, Tierney, Brown and Griffiths all showed glimpses of the talent we know they possess, and can look back at the game without hiding behind the sofa.

Sinclair, Roberts and Rogic were less productive than normal, but they were up against quality opposition.

Painful one for Armstrong and Ntcham.

It's not in Rodgers style to park the bus, but it may be a pragmatic move to 'spoil' games like these in future.

Christ, their front 3 have probably cost more than we've ever spent on players in our club's entire history.
