A score like that is a sore one to take. Although the way PSG started I was expecting 5-0 before half time.

The truth! PSG are 0-5 better than us. No if's or but's. It's no disgrace to say that - look at their * squad... it's probably 0-10 better than ours on paper!!!

We need to be playing teams like PSG to learn. We'll learn from tonight.

I don't care how good any team is that comes to CP, that was absolutely embarrassing. 2 of our worst ever European results in the last 2 seasons.

    Reality check for everyone.

I'm not surprised one bit with this score line.

We have not spent in areas that we desperately need and this what happens when a team who can spend 198m and then 166m on two players.

We are always going to get pumped in Europe with teams being able to spendassive amounts and we are only willing to spend little or nothing every season.

I'm not asking for us to spend more than we get, (cue the we will end up like them mob posting soon, please don't we will not end up like them) but we should have spent more and backed our manager.

Would it have made tonight any different? Maybe but I would have said we would have lost anyway.

All we can do now is try and get a good enough roll of the dice and get third spot, but if I'm totally honest I can see us finishing bottom and be lucky to get a win in the group.

As long as we qualify for the champions league every season I could not care if we get a few hammerings because it's not going to change unless someone with oil money takes over Celtic.

Gutted we got beat 5 nil but like I said im not surprised.

Just have to pick ourselfs up for the weekend.

Tbh it wouldn't have mattered who our
defence was tonight ,we have a very young inexperienced team who were beaten soundly by a quality side who are gonna do this to 70% of the teams in this competition .
It's a case of wiping of the blood and learning from it .

I dont know if anyone has the numbers, but I feel like we dont spend the UCL money we get as well as the money we have made on selling players, so If that's the case, Id rather be in the Europa. yes its great to play the top teams but the gap is just getting stupid now.

Don't think losing 2 goals in the second half was a fair reflection. Definitely picked it up but damage done in the first half. Thought Roberts looked good tonight but other than that, they were on a different level. Frightening squad they have. And * that wee * neymar, he's the *'s *. Embarrassing lack of sportsmanship. Big Jozo should * two foot him in the tunnel.

It's heartbreaking actually. Horrible to see us getting dismantled like that.

What can you do though when one of their players cost more than all our transfer fees combined in our history?

Plenty to be disappointed with but the outrage is a nonsense like you said.

Nah, he's scored over 100 goals in the last 3 seasons, and two of those were when he was playing left of Ibra.

The one thing we can take away from tonights mauling! Neymar is nothing but a MAGGOT!
Not only exposed for his diving! but his unsporting behaviour and lack of professionalism .

50m in the bank, hardly any investment, the board should just come out and make the position clear, what is our ambitions? Just get into the group stages and pray for 3rd place as long as we bank the money? that still needs investment to achieve that! Honestly we were expected to lose, but 5-0 is unacceptable.

The thing is I thought our learning curve began at Barca last season..

Doesn't look like we've learned much..
