Ntcham looks a great signing and we know Broony is class. Only thing is that only leaves one place for an attacking midfielder. Ntcham seems pretty creative but neither him or Broony really burst forward like Armstrong, Rogic or McGregor. Think sometimes we have looked a little slow with Ntcham and Brown together. Just think we look far more dangerous with two of the more direct midfielders .Could this end up being an issue or am I talking pish ?

Not talking pish, but don't think it's an issue.

Ntcham has shown he is capable of linking up and getting forward. We have a wealth of attacking options with Rogic, Armstrong and McGregor. Not concerned with our midfield at all tbh.

Nah not concerned as such. They are all fantastic players. Just think we look with more dangerous with either Broony or Ntcham and two of the others. A good problem to have :50:

We've got loads of options which is great..

Ntcham didn't impose himself in the game today and looked tired but make no mistake this bhoy is so good he'll be impossible to leave out..

I think domestically we could get away with having 2 more attack minded midfielders in play, but in Europe we have a perfect trio with Brown, Ntcham and Rogic.

Think central defence is a much bigger issue tbh, but defo see where you're coming from

No probs mate. Wasn't trying to be a smart *:56:just agreeing with what your point. 2 great players but, can we afford them in the same line up at the expense of one of our attack midfielders. Especially at home in the SPL

We have the perfect mixture of CMs and CAMS it´s really not a position where we should be worried about. If one of our core defenders is injured and Forrest performs bad we have a big problem and no good alternatives.

Fully expect kouassi to be a major part of our midfield by the end of the season. If we are rotating between the 6 of Brown, Ntcham, Kouassi, Rogic, Armstrong and Mcgregor for 3 spots in the middle then we will be in pretty good shape.

Arguably central midfield is the only area of the pitch where no work is needed at present.

Ntcham is classy enough to make a difference in Europe as is Rogic, Brown is the driving force behind the side..

McGregor and Armstrong will both play a significant part this season and don't weaken the side, if they start or are brought on later in a game. In games where teams sit deep you may see them start before Ntcham and eventually Brown will be phased out of the side over the next three or four seasons..

Eboue will get more game time too, so midfield is looking great.. and the only area of the squad where we have sufficient quality and depth. Hopefully the other areas will be strengthened before the end of the window.

I think we need another number 10 to push Rogic.

I'm surprised one hasn't been bought so far as it is something Rodgers has mentioned, the 'Coutinho' type who is fast, aggressive and can press. Something a bit different to Rogic.

I'd expect that to be looked at in January perhaps.

If we can't get another defensive specialist in, I'd like Ajer to be played in midfield. In Europe, Brown alone won't be enough to shatter attacks.
