The fact this guy will potentially be in our CL squad is embarrassing.

Hayes is suffering from being compared to Roberts. He hs neither the skill nor the ability of Paddy. He is however a decent SPL player. He isnt going to come on and change a game. He might come on and be more direct for us giving us a different option.

Hayes will come good. Brendan knows what the guy can do. This is a dream for Hayes, probably at 29 he thought it had passed. Took Armstrong a while to settle. Hayes will get good and BR will get the value back.

They play different positions. Would you have Christie over Rogic, Armstrong or McGregor just now?

Still to make my mind up regarding him, but don't think he done as bad as people say?

If he had scored his chances - which weren't the easiest - then the tone would be complete opposite.

Making the reference because we gave them Christie on loan as part of the deal for Hayes.

I agree with him, I'd rather have Christie in the squad than Hayes any time.

I would rather Christie be playing football and getting better game by game as he is just now than sitting playing snap in the dressing room with Liam Henderson.

Hey may well come good but he's been poor so far. I thought he was meant to be pacey, he doesnt look it.

He was decent when he come on, and created a few opportunities.

Only gripe I have with him is that he should have put his laces right through that shot at goal he had, other than that he was decent.

Certainly nowhere near the levels of rubbishness that is being spouted about him today...

We're not gonna get the ebst out of him by playing him on teh right wing when he's left footed. why'd we buy him just to constantly play him out of position.

It's just not happening for him at the moment, he needs something to go his way for the sake of his confidence. In time he'll prove to be a good back up to Sinclair. Personally I don't think playing on the right suits him at all.

That header at the end was * unlucky btw, he had no right to win it.

Taking time to settle, no doubt..

But it's a disgrace to write him off when he's not even started a league game..

He''s done ok in games, not a bad cross and shot on him and a hard worker but i'd rather have had Ryan Christie instead tbh, more technique and creativity suited to Celtic than Hayes if we're wanting impact off the bench.
