That save at 3-1 was massive.

Can't blame Gordon for much, left horribly exposed for 3 of the goals (even the near post one although he should have stood on his post) and a * deflection for the first.

That goal at the nearpost was a bullet shot.

If Twamasi tried that 10 times, he'd only ever score 1.

You're all * * who rate him, he is * pish and a bottler in the big games and Brendan was right in his initial assumption last season when he dropped him. If we continue with him we will go nowhere in the Groups and will be shooting ourselves in the foot every time.

I can't believe he's just conceded FOUR goals in ONE game yet * are still on here sticking up for him, Astana had NEVER scored four goals in a single European match before tonight. Yes he did make a good save from the shot that was lobbing him but conceding 4 goals from five shots is * woeful, he also had that other awful save where he palmed it back straight into danger. He is * PISH!

I hope to * Brendan grows a pair and drops him before it's too late in the Groups, if he's conceding four to * ASTANA then it doesn't bare thinking about him up against the other sides we can face.

Made an outstanding save first half tipped over the bar as well..

Granted he was pish at the 4th but the defence offered him zero protection..

You sure you've got him on ignore? :56:

that must be 3 players you're wanting out the door because Bitton and Lustig were equally as culpable there if not more. Also he did as much to get us into these groups as anyone in that side tonight!

Too * right I am, I already knew we were through before kick off. But even I couldn't have foreseen such a collapse, Brendan will be deep down furious with that make no mistake. Guys like Gordon and Brown should feel his full wrath. And yes I am aware Bitton was really poor defensively also but he was always a stop gap. Brown and Gordon were playing in their natural positions.

If that isn't a wake up call for Brendan to drop Brown and Gordon for the Group Stages then nothing ever will.

Bitton wasn't playing in his natural position and was always a stop gap, you're right though he was really poor defensively (Although done well to set up Griffiths at the end)

Lustig was uncharacteristically poor, but he's usually so consistent so deserves to be spared for tonight.

If i was Gordon I'd punch Bitton's * in the dressing room for exposing him second half..

If it wasn't for your man Gordon. Bitton would be getting murdered on here tonight..

You're right, Bitton left Gordon exposed. But is it too hard to ask Gordon to at least make a few big saves when he's called upon? Because he never seems to, last year away against Man City Gordon had two shots to deal with and conceded one of them, it's things like that that do my * in, if he saves Ihenachos goal (Which he should have) we win that game.

The Scotland v England game should have been an eye opener for our fans as well, absolutely bottled it as he does our big games. If people are happy with him as our No.1 then they don't have a clue.
