I always wanted to go to a uni in Glasgow but decided against it as I'd just end up being down the Barra's all the time. :56:

Probably good I didn't head up there as I'd have more than likely failed a degree! :56:

Barras and along the Gallowgate for Celtic pubs.

Your uni is right in the city centre so you'll be able to explore that yourself. Loads of places around for eating and nightlife.

Regarded amongst us students as the uni with the best-looking burds in Glasgow, if that's any help.

    Sounds... um... interesting.

Nah she's from Glasgow. I know people who have stayed in the victoria halls though. Just the same as all student halls really, like a wee sweaty hotel room. Normally decent for partying though.

    Whereabouts you gonna be staying.

Staying in thomas campbell halls, no idea what they're like but assume they're pretty standard - buzzing for it now can't wait to move from rural norfolk to glasgow

Class mate. They're right next to uni and a 5 minute walk into town. I go to the college across the road from there.

There's a pub round the corner called howgait if you go in during fresher's they normally give out cards that get you a discount on certain beers/food. You can get a pint/burger meal for 4 quid or something.

Another decent place to get food is barburrito at george square, which is only about 10 minutes walk. They do an alright student discount as well.

There's tons of places though i'm sure you'll find loads of decent places to go. There's a tesco/lidl no too far for your shopping although there's a sainsbury's a bit closer.

There's a 5-a-side pitch called powerleague nearby as well. They do a thing called playermatch that's meant to be decent for folk that are looking for a game. Not used it myself but I play up there now and again and i think a few lads have used it to get a game with us.

Good luck mate, i'm sure you'll have a ball anyway. :50:
