The guy obviously has the heart the size of a peanut.

Spits the dummy out when he's dropped due to HIS poor form, * him.

Would rather have a guy with less quality, but 5x the desire, look at Boyata ffs....

Sell him now, I'd even take the £2.7m and reinvest it toward a new CB.

We won't sell not with our current lack of cover at CB. I like Eric, plays with his heart and has struggled at times with our style. But I still think he has a lot to offer maybe Brendan sees this. How many players last year didn't feature for a while, Armstrong, Forest , Griff and even Roberts . All given time to adapt to Brendans methods and style,

If he goes we definitely need another centre half.

    £4 million sounds fair enough.

Given his drop in form and his injury problems i'd take £4/5M for him no bother.

Amazing how his time has turned around, initially he was #1 and waaaay ahead of Joso, Boyata and everyone else.
I was raving about how good he was and could be.
Then came the 2x old firm games, when his form and confidence dipped.

I think he'll get it back and become first choice again, he's young, experienced international and has a presence about him when on form.

Definitely should not be sold for less than 8M+ an EPL team would easily pay this.

Isn't a terrible defender. He is fairly reliable. Wouldn't be to bothered if he was sold though. We could do better I think. Anything north of £3M I'd be happy enough.

Does need replacing though. Particularly with how things are in our cb position at the moment

There was a point he was our best defender, and was carrying the team. Would take 6 mil and the promise of a new first choice centre back to let him go.

£4m is peanuts in todays game. We need to stop players leaving for lowish fees, sends out the wrong image.

I'm sure he will turn it around again. He hasn't just turned into a bad player. As people have said he was our best centre half not long ago.

If a decent bid came in of £5 million plus I would consider. Then I would put that towards that Croatian defender we have been linked with.

I would punt he obviously doesn't want to be here, that said will he go to Copenhagen it was England he was angling for a move to.

He is behind Boyata and battling with Bitton and Ajer . We have decent cover at centre-half, but are low in real quality. If a reasonable fee can be got and the money put towards a quality partner, with pace, for Jozo, then I think the squad would be complete for the season. It is hard to gauge what a reasonable fee would be, each transfer is different and the factors weighed up, but I imagine it would be around the 3-4 million mark.
It is no sleight on Erik, who has been excellent for us at times, but he looks very exposed at times in Brendan's system and it is becoming more error prone in it. It also seems to take him 20-30 minutes to get into a game, something I first noticed at Ibrox in January and has continued since.

Think we would be really lucky to get anything over 4-5 million for him. Mind you in the mad world that is the EPL Johnny Evans is being quoted at 15m!!

Copenhagen are not going to spend 5 million on one player.

I'd take £4m, Ajer looks ready to step in imo.
