Totally agree he doesn't have the pace for Europe at RB any more think it's time Gamboa gets a bit of consistency into a run I would play Gamboa next 3 domestic games tbh

We definitely need more attacking options.

Serious lack of depth in these areas unless we really give youth a chance

I would think 3 is the ideal number with possibly 3 going out in Henderson, Ciftci and 1 other Midfielder probably Armstong if he doesnt sign deal if he does then Bitton goes

Boyata and Dembele seem to be out for a while so a CB and a striker is a must. Let's b honest, it was a farce not having a decent striker for 1 and a half games in a very important tie. Even thought Aitchison is there he's still inexperienced and raw. So defo a striker.

Similarly, having to put Bitton at CB last night, despite playing well, won't work all the time and as Erik only lasted 25mins last night we need cover. So a CB is required. BR and the board might get round that by playing lustig and CB and Gamboa at RB.

And paddy of course! Would show us that the board are serious in making progress in Europe.

I love stig. Has served the club well, much like izzy has. The last two games has been a bit of a eye opener though. It might be just two poor games. Then, it might be the start of a decline. Think we should definitely be looking at a rb as a cb

We have realistically got ourselves as a minimum

    £8m from EL groups
    £2m from CL playoff
    £1m ticket sales from Playoff

Then £12m in transfer fees potentially in van dijk cut and Armstrong being sold.

So ye have guaranteed £11m with potential £12m on top your net spend so far this window is roughly £4m along with £20m ST and 3 new strips I feel we should be looking to spend minimum £10m in addition to the £4m already spent and if you make CL groups then for me we should be spending around £15m in addition to the £4m on 3 players of real good quality!

Would you prefer to punt the money we could throw at a 3rd choice striker at another area of the team, whilst giving a promising young player (Aitcheson) a chance up front?

I really want to see more local and home grown players play for our club.

Yes. Would gladly use the money for another striker and put it towards paddy or a CB. I would give Aitchison his chance and I was annoyed when he wasn't given this chance particularly v rosenborg at home. I felt he was definitely worth a go considering we had very little option. BR obv had his reasons for playing rogic upfront but imo Aitchison would have been a better choice.

I do hope then if we don't purchase another striker (which I doubt the club will do anyway) that aitchison is given his chance if griff and Dembele are unavailable rather than playin Forrest/Sinclair/rogic/anyone who is not a striker, upfront.

Right winger, injuries aside we look good at centre back, Brendan has faith in Erik, Boyata and Ajer to partner Jozo. Bitton and Lustig can slot in as well.

Think a full back and forward would do nicely now as cb is out the window.

I think a striker isn't the right option for us as Brendan said having a 3rd striker just won't work in the way that we play. We can't have three quality strikers in a system that only plays one. Could possibly cause heat between them. Best thing for us to do is to acquire a quality winger who is capable of playing as a striker when required incase it happens again and whenever we have two fit strikers we can play him out wide. I don't think a CB is necessary as Ajer looks the part and could develop and hopefully get more game time unless it's an older and more experienced CB who doesn't mind being played on occasion. I think as long as we get ourselves a quality winger first and foremost we should be sound. We don't look the best just now because it's the pre-season and fitness levels aren't the best and players are getting used to some newcomers. Once we get the momentum going again we should hopefully get a good run in Europe.

A CB would could also fill in at LB would be nice. Basically a better version of Charlie Mulgrew to provide back-up/competition for KT

Quite simply this. Ideally a centre-back who compliments Jozo's style, someone with a decent diagonal to mix it up would be great.

A RW, who can play ST and a CB. That's all we need.

The absolute dream would be for Celtic to pull out Caulker and Roberts.

If we can only get one of the above like say Roberts but not Caulker then I'd say CB can wait, but if we got Caulker but not Roberts then I would still want a winger who can challenge Sinclair or atleast allow the man a rest and just leave Hayes and Forrest to fight for the RW.
