I wouldn't mind us going 3-4-3 as we did at home to Linfield, I've a feeling Brendan may do that and go for it trying to get as many away goals as possible, then if we manage to get a couple shore up the defense and see the game out. I still feel Brendan doesn't want to risk Ajer in this high pressure game and Erik looks like he may not make it and even if he could make it I'm not sure Brendan fully trusts him either. Brendan's three most reliable defenders are Lustig/Jozo/Tierney and I think he may trust the three of them to handle Rosenborgs attack.

    A team such as.........

    -----------------Gordon--------------------

    ----Lustig--------Jozo--------Tierney------

    -----Armstrong---Brown-----McGregor----

    -------------------Rogic---------------------

    ------Forrest-----Griffiths-----Sinclair------

This team should have too much class for Rosenborg and see us through to the Play-offs.

Off to Norway tomorrow, staying with a few Norwegian Celts as well. My first euro away. Anyone else going?

Former Celtic and Rosenborg player Harald Martin Brattbakk said following to BBC:

"Both teams know that it's a matter of not conceding a goal, so I think we will see two cautious teams at the beginning of the match. But I don't think either of the teams will aim for extra-time because that will be even harder. There will be chances in the 90 minutes."

Anyone else think Brendan may go with 3 at the back and leave out Ajer/Erik?

Not even remotely worried about this. I can see us taking 3 or 4 off them in all honesty.

Too right, CL defines our season in terms of everything. Excitement, better players potentially joining the club, bigger budget for Brendan to work with etc.

Just the glamour of being part of the draw for the Groups and who we might get, experiencing the incredible unique atmosphere our fans provide on a CL night.

Everything is on the line here, it's make or break. Lose this game and the Europa League qualifier will be a far harder test than the CL play off imo in terms of the teams we could draw.

I'm desperate to hear that CL anthem ringing again throughout Celtic Park and to hear that we first of all need to dispose of these Nordic * who bring sweet * all to the tournament as a club.

I've got faith in Brendan getting the team right this time, this is why we pay Brendan £45K a week to deal with these type of games that define our season.

I wish I shared your confidence, it depends on the team selection but as it stands I feel a nerve shredding score draw is on the cards.

Yes, point taken, but we're not the same team we were then either. Last Wednesday was the most inept an attacking performance that we've had in a year, and we still got a good draw out of it. I don't expect Brendan to make the same mistake twice in regard to having a completely immobile attacking midfielder playing up front against two banks of 4 defenders.
