Chelsea have made a stunning offer to match Manchester United’s bid for Romelu Lukaku in a bid to wrestle him back to Stamford Bridge.

But Chelsea will not match the agent fees Mino Raiola will get from Lukaku moving to United, leaving the striker with a tough decision to make.

Lukaku must now decide whether to go ahead with the £75million move to United that had been set up by Raiola or effectively go against his agent to re-join Chelsea.

It is understood that Chelsea still believe Lukaku would rather re-sign for them and, therefore, feel the player must make a decision based on either sporting reasons or on how much money Raiola will pocket.

Chelsea are now waiting to find out whether or not Lukaku is prepared to demand to return to the Blues or go ahead with a planned United medical tonight and complete a move to Old Trafford.

United are still confident of completing a deal for Lukaku in time for him to join up with the squad on the US tour on Sunday.

His agent telling him you better go to United.

    "Go against his agent"

Agents are employed by players for fucksake, they should have no say in whats going on other than doing what they're told.

Ruben Neves has now officially signed for Wolves. They also signed * Boly on loan from Porto and are being linked with Vincent Aboubakar.

Good move, about the right time for him to leave Schalke. Shame he's not heading to PSV where it all started, from a sentimental perspective.

Porto laughing all the way to the bank, started something like 8 games last season. His stock has dropped over the last year, if bigger clubs still wanted him they'd be in competing with Wolves. One of those transfers motivated by FFP, you suspect.

Everton being linked with Van Dijk now. Be mad if they signed him and Rooney.

Utd supposedly mulling over £50 mill bid for Dier.

Honest to *, the fees today really do not match the talent anymore.

It's not a step up though he'd be leaving one mid table side for another, if he's leaving hes going to a CL team

Makes you think if Dier's worth £50million how much is Wanyama worth now, who's a lot better than him.

Everton are going in the right direction. Good manager, some good players and a plenty of money to spend.

Van Dijk could do far better than them, and really should do better than them, but Everton would be a step up from Southampton.

£50 million for Dier, even in the current financial climate, would maybe rank as the most ridiculous fee. He did * all last season.

    Wanyama is far better.

No chance Van Dijk will go to Everton. Statement from them though.

If VVD goes to Everton, he'll make Keane and Pickford look worth every penny they were bought for.

Can't see it happening though, not unless they went to Southampton and theoretically spent all of the Lukaku money on him.

Honestly for me if everton were to shave off £15mill from the Pickford buy and about £8mill off the Keane buy and maybe £2-4mill off the klassen buy, then I would say they've been doing great business to improve on the squad they have.

However the fees they are paying is ruining the expectations and limits the players they have brought in have. Given how they don't seem to be letting up either, just because of the money spent regardless of the talent, anything less then top four is a disaster.
