Thing is, if they were to sign Dembele and Costa was to go in the summer..... Then I couldn't possibly see Dembele as being his straight replacement. They'd still get somebody else in. They'll be having an assault on everything next year, including the Champion's League..

Agree with this. Celtic can't and shouldn't turn down the sort of money being spoken about here. 19 year old, bought for 500k 6 months ago, some deal. With that and CL money combined there's money for a quality GK, defender and striker at least. That kind of money with Rodgers in charge excites me a lot, if it was someone like Deila I'd probably want to keep Dembele but look what Rodgers has done with very limited funds, would be incredible with that kind of money.

In fact, I'd go as far to say that a combination of that money and Rodgers would see us very competitive in Champions League group stage football and with a chance of getting pretty far in the Europa as well.

I'm telling you if Payet is worth £28m at his age Moussa Dembele is going to be gold. Dembele is one * of a player and he's already been improving since Brendan has been coaching.

All the pundits on Sky are going mad about how good he is going to be as when he was 16 people noticed he had potential and since then he's been getting better and better every season.

People said we were crazy when we said we should be asking teams for £25m when the EPL come calling because fecking Southampton were starting to rip the pish out of it.
