I'll take the slagging but....I kind of like it now.

Pretencious as * how they describe it at the event but it's minimalistic and will appeal to a wide range of people. They can shove it on everything and sell loads.

Can see their merchandise and commercial income rising.

I don't like it as a club badge, but I wouldn't mind some casual t-shirts with it on it though, it would look good even.

I guess that was their objetive after all.

It's more distinctive than the old one, I'll give it that.

Juve have changed their badge a number of times over the years, so I suppose they can't be too precious about it. However, this badge has ditched any remaining connection to football, and is clearly about creating a "brand image" to sell merchandise in other parts of the world............. Personally I detest how football clubs appear to dismiss their heritage in order to sell a few shirts in the far East.

Yeah, really felt bad for Cardiff fans went through the changes with their Asian owner. At the top rungs of any sport now is all corporate. The winning and team and fans are after thoughts. All about the pounds. * way to be. Now it has went that way the only way it will take a turn if fans vote with their feet and stop buying merchandise. Italian and German fans seem to have good networks and connections to ring changes in their home competitions.

Aye, it's not that bad tbh.

Juve always change their badge anyway. Their badge has never been symolic, it was always their strip. The fans don't seem to * to be honest. They think it will help with merchandise sales and closing the gap on the mega rich teams.

True they have changed their badge but it hasn't been a massive departure the way that one is surely?

    Just looking at these

If anything I'd prefer a modernised (hate that word) version of the 1983-91 badge that could work I think for marketing it to a wider audience. But if as you say their fans aren't too * and they think it will help, then who are we to say whats right and wrong.

    Personally I don't like it.

@Don Scorleone I'd love a badge like that or the original Celtic cross as our badge :celt_2:

To be fair though their old crest was really dated and needed an update, the red dragon one was obviously * but the new one incorporates all the elements of the old whilst not looking like a 90's era clipart job.

They also ditched the red kits when it was clear they weren't going to catch on, and at one stage they were investing loads into the facilities etc, so they've no real reason to complain compared to the likes of Charlton and Blackpool fans.

Aye, the new Cardiff one looks much better, the red one they first changed it too though was shocking
