    I like Brand but agree that what he and Ross did was totally out of order.

    Fawlty Towers is one of the great comedies of all time IMO. Apart from that, I also remember Sachs as the narrator in the BBC program Deutsch Plus for learning German.

    Very few people remain comedically current for their entire lives. Cleese is a genius. I know nothing about him being a *. I find the posters desire to see him dead as extremely disrespectful in a thread about the death of a well liked actor, as well as being completely off topic.
