Big Jock tribute

The old Ninian park stadium is now a housing development. Im guessing no one that lives there would know of the events of that terrible day. I remember watching the match on the telly with the family and the joy of reaching the world cup in Mexico being very quickly replaced by the shock of what unfolded. I now live approx 2 min walk away from the old stadium and often think, when i walk or drive past, of the tragic event that took a footballing genius from us.

Just watched it,only ever saw big Jock twice,first time was a friendly against Dundalk in Ireland,Celtic won 6-1 Kenny Dalgish was playing about 74 I think,and one day outside Ibrox,Celtic won 4-2,84 sitting at roundabout with head down big shadow comes across Big Jock walking pass,"what about the celts Jock" "brillant" he says,seems like yesterday
