5 was over the top but 8 is ridiculous. I know some guys thought i was trying to condon the actions of the police earlier on but i was only trying to generate some debate.

    All of them!!!
On Sky News report police have issued a statement saying it was 8 shots that were fired into the man. EIGHT SHOTS....C'mon that's not right!!!!

An inquest opened into the death of the 27-year-old at Southwark Coroner's Court heard he was shot seven times in the head and once in the shoulder.

The details of his death have been confirmed by the Independent Police Complaints Commission.

Sick of all this politically correct *...

This guys death was tragic..nothing more, nothing less...

Once again London is bearing the brunt of terrorist attacks...as it has in the past from people who shall remain nameless but who get a great deal of support from areas unaffected by it.
This situatuion was dealt with at the time and as the circumstances dictated.

If it had went the other way and this guy had a bomb and detonated it you would all be on here saying what * the police were for letting it happen.

    No win situation.

Regardless of what the mindless minority on here think, the people of London do not deserve what is happening to them now and what happened to them in the past.

One bullet to the head would have done the job....

what if the guy had a bomb and this one bullet didnt do the trick..

    Very tragic as i said.

The police in London should have introduced shoot to kill years ago and taken out those whom they knew were involved in terrorist activities.
I do KNOW that this was the case that these people were known.

Also while we are at it banging on about killing terrosorist, first thing i would do is lock up ALL the murderers freed under the good friday agreement.

    Brilliant post mate!

Every single point made, i agreed with!

No matter what religion, creed etc, if you believe you hate England enough, to watch 50 odd INNOCENT people die, then let that be on concience.

Well, had enough of the * that goes on...regarding how some people can say its tragic that 50 odd people have died and in the same breath will instantly condemn the police for doing what they thought was right and at the same time supporting groups that have in the past killed more people.

    Double * standards.

I have complete sympathy for this man andfor the family of this man that was shot,
I have complete sympathy for the victims and families of the of the victims of the 7/7 bombings.

Heres me, born and bred Glaswegian Catholic, living down south.......perfectly happy, no hassle, nothing.

Majority of the people who have such strong views have never been outside their own little areas and have pre conceived ideas of what people are like due to the * that they read in the media.

Aye mate, my mam, a Born and Bred Glaswegian Catholic and Staunch Celtic fan:52:, finds most of this bollocks medieval and is actually disgusted by all these people that believe being a Scottish fan of Celtic means you have Irish relations and that English are scum.

It works both ways though, if this man say had been a bomber strolling down onto a train, and then did what was done a few weeks back, the whole nation will of being up in arms, begging questions of "Where is the police?" etc.

I beg the question to these people, just sit back and contemplate if one of your family members, or you yourself were on business in London that day, and you caught Aldgate station train at 10 to 9, how would you be feeling right now?

Condolences to the poor Brazillian chappy but the man himself is partially to blame sadly!

BB, shoot-to-kill has been the method used by British forces for a long time now. It wasnt unfortunate, 7 shots in the head is not needed to kill a man. The person who fired the shots was not responsible enough to stay composed under the situation.

Al-Qaeda and the IRA??? managed to fit the Irish problem in there in the end.

I do sympathise with the people of London, but the leaders of its country, for many centuries now have paraded around the world, slaughtered, mamed and taken profits and expected nothing in retaliation. the people are innocent, but so are the people of the countries England had invaded.

Totally agree...dont recall Blair invading Iraq on the manifesto in the election before it happened...

The ordinary people..be they down south or up north do not support Blair in what he does...thats was apparent...

Do not believe the media pish that claims that people down south support Blair...

the media is basically working as government spin-doctors. After the events with the Brazilian man, all of a sudden pictures of the suspected bombers last Thursday are released and it takes priority in the news broadcasts, pushing this incident down the pecking order. this is a blatant attempt at damage-limitation by Blair.

  14. On our regional news, it was reported that they had found suspects in my village!

Some Asians all with backpacks on their way to a wedding!
    I was killing myself laughing!

I just think everyone is very paranoid and suspicious now. But, there could be someone in there with the school children with backpacks on that was involved and they wouldn't have a clue.

I think that every black person with a backpack on and is sweating will be a suspect.
