    brilliant idea. A lot of folk, myself included have to stay in hotels when were up to watch the footy.

    Staying here would obviously be first choice (on the basis it has a decent bar for talking pished nonsense to fellow fans on the eve/after the game :56:) plus the clubs revenue will improve, whats not to like.


    would be a big GIRFUY to the zombies as well who are still waiting on their super casino hotel- *

    Of course a room in that hotel would probably cost 4 times what you would pay in Glasgow city centre, nice idea though.

    highly doubt it- rooms are extortionate for every CL league game. Think i paid near £200 for a night in the Etap on the Quay, fair enough there was heroin & prostitutes in the hallways i believe guests can use :50:

    problem is there's a big event nearly every week at the SECC/hydro hence more expensive city centre hotel rooms. I couldn't see a Celtic hotel charging 4 times more for a room when Justin Beiber is at the Hydro!

    Nothing to stop the fans getting involved.. didn't hurt the Bunnet when he got them on board.

    With today's crowdfunding and social media platforms the fans should be all over this. Think about
    away fans from Europe! sod Glasgow Council and their fan zone.. we could build our own

    A place that could have large hall for bands, functions, etc. i can't see many downsides to such an idea,
    If it is joint venture between the club and the fans then i think everybody will be quids in

    If there is a 'gap' in the market then its a good idea. As for prices, I would imagine/hope they will do what every other decent hotel in the land does and increase prices when they are busy, its simply supply and demand.

    The fact the emirates is just across the road and hosts events like the Davis cup pretty regularly could genuinely make this feasible.

    I've stayed in Hotel Football in the shadow of Old Trafford a couple of times.

    Awesome hotel, awesome food, awesome location. Exact same prices as anywhere else in Manchester.

    Great idea, in need of somewhere close to Parkhead and where better than right next to Paradise :50:
    After a few years the hotel will pay for itself and then can also offer ticket & hotel room deals.

    Also would be great they add a beer garden or something for fans on the day.
