No doubt there'll be someone that fits that description in Scandinavia.

Regarding the 'keeper, I completely agree. Having a goalie who is good with his feet is a bit of a luxury, the main focus has to be is he a good shot stopper and does he command his box. Then, if he's comfortable with the ball at his feet, lovely.

Really looking forward to the transfer window.

 

Would regard Walker to be a *?

 

We need the CDM position vastly improved.

Competition for Sinclair's position would be nice too, just to keep him on his toes.

GK not immediate in January, Gordon will suffice for now although if we magic our way into 3rd place in UCL we could look at it sooner.

We are not particularly weak in any areas good defence, mostly good centre midfield (bitton aside)

great width and a tremendous embarrasment of riches in the striking department.

Im reserving judgement on Gamboa because he has barely played- but failing to impress so far.

DDV has had a poor start- perhaps he got the number one spot for too easily and it spooked him he was just in the door- at this point though doesnt look too good for him. And at his age he was always going to a short term signing.

We do need to thin down the numbers a bit ambrose, GMS, Commons, allan, mcgregor and perhaps one more could be sold/loaned out without us feeling it too much.

Our main concern will be keeping our bestplayers at the club and free from injury.

We have a large squad but the quality drops quite dramatically in some cases from the first team.

We only have 4subs that dont dimnishthe quality of the team. griff- dembele roberts- forest armstrong- bitton and simunovic -toure/erik. we need 2 or 3 more that are like for like in terms of quality.


For next season we need around 5 players for this window 1 or 2 of the right player/s will do.

 

Does ma * in how Ajer can't get a start ahead of Bitton.

What about moving Kolo into DM? I'm sure he's played there before

 

Guaranteed, in my opinion.

 

Get rid of all of them and who would we be left with, for squad depth?

Brown, Bitton, Sinclair, Rogic, Christie, Roberts and Forrest?

Commons hasn't featured so he could go, although I believe he'd still have something to offer. GMS hasn't even featured on the bench from what I can see on the Celtic website, so we could get rid of him too. I'd keep McGregor and Armstrong at least.

CDM needed. Maybe leave the keeper situation until the summer.

 

Goalie is quick becoming a priority, he has absolutely * all command of his box and seemingly the defenders haven't got a * clue what's going on around them because it's always absolute chaos back there. We will never progress in Europe with him in goal.

 

I wouldn't get rid of them all at once but they are a shortlist of names that I would be picking from. Commons and Mackay-Steven being the most dispensable.

Looking forward to January as much for selling our deadwood.

Ambrose, Boyata, Janko, Allan, Mackay-Steven, Commons and Cifti out the door over the next two windows hopefully then our squad looks fine. Need to add three quality and we are in an excellent place.

A Wanyama-type defensive midfielder to protect our defence in Europe. It is 6 months (or several years) too late mind you.

I would also look at another quality winger for the right hand side as Roberts won't be here beyond the end of the season and Forrest is too inconsistent. Sinclair is a good example of the genuine quality we need. He was a bit pricey, but with a bit of luck we could maybe get someone in on a pre-contract.

Other than this we probably need to trim the squad and replace any that leave.

 

Dont think dembele will go any where in jan or even next summer,2018 will be when he leaves...2 years on contract and been here for 2.
We need better in midfield for sure in jan window.

 

Defensive mid for in next to Brown but it's not vital, can see us waiting till the summer.

Sell- Ciftci, Efe, Boyata, Bailly, Commons
Loan- Ajer and Christie if they are not going to get much game time rest of the season.
