Prima donnas half of them are :smiley-laughing002:
And we shouldn't give them inflated egos. let them earn the respect each game they have to play, you are only as good as your last game as they say in this game. Look at us, up on Saturday, down again on Tuesday. Make them earn the respect, don't donate it to them.

Against Barca we lined up in two lines of 5 and 4 like statues with no movement, and looked like we were adulating them like football Gods.
Of course they were going to rub it into us.
    Way to stop it.
    Get wired into them.
If you can't get near them, block them.
If you can't stop them, take a yellow for the team.
But don't just stand there like a statue fawning over them.
That is what they want you to do. Stop playing football.

That's how I feel....it's too early in BR's tenure to expect too much.....next year might be a whole different story....let's hope at least.

Thanks for that, saved me the bother of turning up and wasting my hard earned

Anymore words of wisdom while you're at it:87:

What are you basing this on and please remind me of the last team that came to Parkhead and won by 4 or 5 clear goals?

Because some people seem more comfortable moaning than offering praise when it's due, I bet you when Deila was having his worst results and runs the traffic on this site was heavier than Saturday or the night of Beer Sheva at home

Can see the same tbh. Just watched the highlights from yesterday and the movement is not far off Barcelona. Going to be a long 2 nights against them.

Passed a telly at work and it was showing highlights of their game. I only saw one move, it was a counter attack and it was frighteningly good. Some guy played an absolutely amazing pass to set it going as well.

De Bruyne ? Sterling looked proper dangerous as well. I know people like to slag him but anyone with that much pace will cause problems, especially if he keeps his current form up. Looks full of confidence.

Guardiola has turned them jnto a great side already. Looks like they'll stroll that league.

Don't think I've ever saw our odds that high for a home game before.

Possibly. It was some blond guy threaded a diagonal ball through the absolute eye of a needle from deep in his own half to start the counter. Think he even did it with his right foot IIRC, which blew my mind. He was fairly central and the pass went out to their right. Was that De Bruyne?

I'm not supposed to stop and watch the telly, but I had to stop and watch that.

This is literally the hardest group we've ever had IMO. You have to feel for Brendan facing that group with almost Ronny Deila's side.

With the outside if his foot ? Aye it was him. Looks like he suits Guardiolas' style to a tee. Seen Kompany is due back for them as well. Doesn't get any easier.

We are in the group stages - everything else is a bonus!

I am not gonna start throwing a tantrum if we get pumped off a team managed by one of the best managers on the planet with one of the largest budgets in world football.

Some folk have unrealistic expectations! Just enjoy it!

Don't really care to be honest as long as we don't start apologising for being there. This German led campaign to make it more elitist is sickening and a worrying development for football. This competition has to have the minnows who dare to dream.
