You've got a good while to ponder the decision mate, they've stopped selling season tickets for the season.

I go to loads on my own as nearly all I know axed it years ago and dropped by the wayside for various family and personal reasons.

I find myself being more social and chatting to folk more and have met loads of great random folk over the years.

Football is one of the only things left you can do socially where you don't feel like a mug going on your own.

Will be in Germany at the time of Moenchengladbach so that's worked out well for me and will go along to that on my own with no worries.

Being at a match on your own isn't that bad at all. You get peace to concentrate on the game. It's the going to the pub before and after on your own that sucks balls. Did it once and wouldn't do it again.

Only game I've been to on my own was against barca where we won 2-1. Maybe I should go more often.

Nope, don't like it and know I'd feel uncomfortable doing it..

Travelled quite a few time's on my own, and even that puts me off..

Knowing that was coming would ruin the match for me. Would probably just give the whole thing a miss rather than go through that. :smiley-laughing002:

I go to games myself all the time when I'm able to get a ticket. Don't mind it to be honest, used to go with my pal all the time when I was about 15 we'd buy a ticket every second home league game but we eventually grew apart, didn't go to a game myself till I was about 18, sometimes my sister will get a ticket with me brother in law or on rare occasion my old man.

I actually like going to games myself, and I would recommend it it's something you gotta do sometime. :celt_2:

I went to a Spurs game on my own when backpacking through the UK. Luckily got seated next to a gorgeous young lady and chatted her up all game. She was planning on going to university in Toronto or Vancouver so I gave all sorts of info. Didn't have the nerve to ask her for a night out with her dad sitting next to her though. :52:

Just do it bud. No shame or hassle about it. If anything could make new mates while there.

Done football on my own a few times, cinema on your own, even went to Barcelona one time in my own for a long weekend.

Aye 90 percent of the time i go to the games myself, and i enjoy them.like my own company.

you could go to games on the supporters buses if your looking to meet people or youll always find someone to talk to in the pubs in the gallowgate.

When I had a season ticket i would go to majority of games by myself as most of my mates that were tims didn't have jobs etc so never had money to go.

Would travel over from Belfast on my own couple of times a season, usually October and May. No problem with it atall. Always enjoy the day out. Used to go to Failte for couple of pints before or after depending on kick off time but was getting renovated last time I was over.Is it open again?
