    You would think so.
    McCarthy is a runner and Brendan does say he likes runners.
    Even if we do sign McCarthy I would still like another midfielder.
    Unless of course Brendan rates Henderson which I think he does, and still has high hopes for Scott Allan.

    Im from castlemilk. Dont know McCarthy but my mate is close to his cousin who says McCarthy has told him hes pushing for a deal to happen but nothing agreed.

    Im not a fan of McCarthys...never seen the hype but he obviously must do a lot of things well to be were he is.

    He's the type of midfielder we could do with in Europe. Doesn't do much flashy but keeps the ball well, is good defensively and has plenty of energy about him. Probably hasn't fully fulfilled his potential but he's still a good player nonetheless. Also it'd be nice to have another Irish player in the squad.

    I worked on their hoose about 10 year ago, were sound. McCarthy was just a young 'in at Hamilton.
