Not one for bashing individual players but that shot today should have been saved, he wasnt even that far off his line but still managed to beat him.

I sit just to the left of the goals and could see the travel of the ball coming straight for the goal...before de vries did it would seem.

His shots against him to goal ratio is shocking.

Sure Gordon makes some good but he gives away goals out of nothing. Both are as bad as each other

Can do but can also get beat to the ball and karate kick part time footballers. Gordon is hopeless and has cost us so many times the past couple of seasons, let's not forget that because De Vries has started poorly.

Toure will have a bad game against City and people will want * Efe back.

Gordon is nowhere near as bad as Ambrose.

So if he's started poorly, more poorly than Gordon was playing, why would you play him against Aguero? De Vries has shown nothing so far except a calmness with the ball at his feet.

Is he playing worse than Gordon though, they're equally *. I don't wanna play either of them to be honest, don't think we could be doing much worse just sticking Fasan in.

Also I'm obviously not comparing Efe to Gordon, juat commenting on the general trends on this forum.

He is playing worse. He's barely made a save. Gordon's a liability that can make a save, De Vries is a liability who can pass the ball to a defender reliably.

The goal today was up the other end from me, but to be fair to him it looked a wonder strike, but think he looks really nervous. Wouldn't be the first to move to a big club and buckle.

Just seen the goal... he really should not be getting beaten from there.

How tall is De Vries btw?

Met him after the game today, must be about 6"2 as he's about my height - got hands the size of dinner plates! Really pleasant guy, asked him about his injury, said his chest spasmed when he stretched for the ball, reckon it'll settle down in about 24 hours though. Don't think you can blame him for the goal, ball is going at some pace and dipping late. Could say he should have been on his line but given where Killie had the ball, was better positioned to deal with any through balls. He seemed a bit annoyed by it though and Inverness last week, didn't say to him that I thought he should've down better last week. Top guy though, I've been pretty harsh towards him since he signed so I'm feeling a bit bad given he was really open and friendly.

To be fair domestically the reliable passing is probably a better attribute.

Yeah that and strikers that don't score goals but hold the ball up. Latest flavour of the month this. Kicking is no way near as important as actually making saves.

He never moved his feet at all to deal with a shot from easily 35 yards, that isn't the first time which is a concern, and as said keeping the ball out the net comes before passing out from the back any day of the week

Not when keeping balls out the net isn't seeing as thats his job first and foremost, he has now lost 3 goals due to poor positioning and reactions, now if this was a defender you would be screaming to get it sorted, im not writing him off but he has been bang average so far
