Despite having a TV revenue stream dwarved by EPL clubs PL is still one of the highest paid CEO's in all of British football?......

    Rogers good appointment-Yes

Deila should never have been appointed in the first place, he was a "cheap" option marketed as visionary and progressive to the fans

Some key players yes but a Goalkeeper RB and Defensive Mid are still glaring issues.

PL has done some good things but not enough to warrant being paid one of the highest salaries in British Football

Fair points and you are right about a goalkeeper, DM and RB, they might still come back to haunt us by January.

Nothing wrong with a female CEO, as Lawwell didn't get everything right.
Ann Budge and Karen Brady are ones who come to mind.
People like Roy Keane and Chris Sutton amongst others are watching us closely. We need to get our act together.

I don't actually want him to leave.

He has a reputation within European football. Rather him than the CEO of Glasgow airport.

Can't imagine us without Pete at the helm,he's been brilliant for us and there's not many that can fill his shoes.

Was thinking the same reading this. We've seen him in one game and he wasn't very good, but trying to handle that little * Neymar, Suarez and Jordi Alba marauding down that line would be tough for the Phillipp Lahm's and Javier Zanetti's of the world nevermind a boy who's come up off the back of not many games and thrown in to the grinder in Catalunya.

Definitely changed my opinion of him, after watching Scotland's game on BBC. I didn't really realise how critical the situation was at Celtic in the early 90s(I was born 96). Also didn't realise fans also critisised Fergus for his lack of spending and he said something on the programme which I don't think I'll forget "don't pay £10million pounds for a £5miilion pound player" and I think that statement fully explains Lawell's lack of big spending.I've been very critical of Lawell but that programme definitely changed my opinion of him.

Can't wait the day Lawwell leaves, far too grossly overpaid.

"These things happen to players sometimes in football, but needless to say we wish Joey well at his new club."
