A step above what we have or have had in his position for years. Sheer class.

Some stat, he's been absolutely immense so far. An absolute bargain at 4 million or so.

And they gave us James McGrory and Wee Sinkyyyy.

Seriously, though some going for him. On another level domestically.

BR on @Scotty_Sinclair equaling Jimmy McGrory's record of scoring in first 5 league games:"If he ends up like Jimmy, he'll be alright!

BR: "He (@Scotty_Sinclair) will be in the @Celtic_Musical next! You can see his quality."

SCOTT Sinclair admitted he had no idea that he was the first Celtic player in 80 years to match club legend Jimmy McGrory in scoring in the first five league games of the season in today’s 2-2 draw away to Inverness Caley Thistle.
The 27-year-old has made an incredible impact since joining the Scottish champions from Aston Villa and his superb run and finish in the first half put the Hoops 2-1 ahead after Tom Rogic’s opener had been cancelled out by Billy King.
It was a lead that Brendan Rodgers’ side seemed destined to add to after they dominated the second half and created chance after chance, with Inverness goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams in inspired form.
And they were left to rue those missed opportunities when Alex Fisher headed in an equaliser in the dying moments of the game to salvage a share of the spoils for the hosts.
For Sinclair, that frustrating conclusion to the end of the match took the shine of his fantastic feat, something no one has equalled since the great McGrory, who went on to score in his first eight league games.
Speaking exclusively to Celtic TV, he said: “I wasn’t aware of that and it’s something new. I go into every game looking to create and score goals and it’s a great achievement but at the same time it would have been better to have won the game.
“Every game is difficult to score goals and the players in front of you want to stop you doing that and park the bus sometimes we have to break them down.
“Sometimes it’s going to be difficult to go places and score goals but as strikers and attacking players we have got, we have to create chances and make sure we come away with wins.
“It’s amazing what consistency and confidence does for a player like myself and when you have both you feel like you are going to score.”
“Three to go (to match the record) but the main thing is to win the game and get the three points so if I can keep scoring and get the wins then that would be fantastic.”
The forward was part of an impressive Celtic display in the Highlands, which came on the back of two tough matches - the thumping Glasgow derby success and a heavy UEFA Champions League loss to Barcelona.
And Sinclair knows he and his colleagues should have seen the game out after exerting such control on the contest.
“It was difficult today,” he added. “It felt like we lost the game. We controlled the game in the second half and we created chances so to come away with a draw is very disappointing.
“We kept pressurising them, we kept going forward with the ball and creating chances but it didn’t happen for us and we need to be stronger in the last five minutes of the game as a team and be stronger.

Not always in the game but you know he can always pop up with a bit of magic.

Sign of a quality player. Shame it couldn't have been the winner. He's really changed my opinion of him since arriving.

What an impact he's made, an absolute dream start.

Always confident we'll score goals with this guy in the side.

Loving the man at the minute, been an amazing signing. Fast becoming my favourite player and even my wee nephew has his dad tortured now to get Sinclair on back of his top ☺
