Would surprise me if Messi & Suarez played more than 30-45 minutes, if that.

Not sure of the ticket sales but 50,000 * €80 is €4m!! Add on corporate tickets and income from sponsors and you're talking a lucrative day for the 2 clubs involved.

From our point of view (for what it's worth) it fosters relationships with these elite teams which can only be a good thing. I know cynics will scoff, but for a club in our position it could make a difference.

The Tournament itself will generate over $100 million so it would not surprise me in the slightest.

They have allsorts of sponsors this year, TV coverage and they've been filling stadiums as well.

Really looking forward to this, will be a good game against great opposition. Hopefully rests the team for the Astana game and plays the likes of Allan and give the Astana XI 30 minutes.

Looks like they're enjoying themselves! The Broony one with Rodgers * himself could make a good caption competition :56:

Thought that myself but initially but I think he's always looked as if he's carrying some timber.

this could turn out to be a game for squad players :D

We nned to play Toure here and Dembele needs time to get going too- he's been unlucky so far but any sort of performance here will lift him.

should try out ajer in the sitting position and pair toure with o connel at cb.

Do we go one up front or play griff and dembele?
