Bit worried about KK being caught a bit cold on Saturday. Galway have the potential to really challenge.

Still, the Cats by five to eight points.

 

I thiink Kilkenny will win. But Galway have a good side and really this is a tough game for them this early in the championship.

 

Worked out as planned. We always get caught a bit cold in the first match of the Championship. Joe Canning is a wonderful talent. Mind you, after his goal from the free in the second half, he had another two frees in possible goal-scoring positions - if you're going to beat this KK side then you've got to go for the jugular and the big plays. He just settled for the point on both occasions, though.

When we went five points down early in the second half I must admit I was a bit worried, but the way we picked it up in the final quarter was just typical Cats. Textbook. A delight to watch.

That should be Leinster in the bag, anyway. Tipp and Waterford don't really worry me. Going to take an obscene effort to stop us against this year.

How about Dublin's dismantling of Westmeath yesterday 4-26 to 0-11 ouch that is some score line. The final will be a tough one against Kildare though as they looked very good themselves in the other semi-final.

 

That is quite beating.
