well to answer the tennis question no not necessarily, I don't know much about tennis though but if he was still training and keeping his fitness up I don't see why he necessarilly would, do you think larsson dropped in quality when he came here? their have been countless teams and players that have excelled in europe coming from relatively poor leagues.

Didn't have any doubt we'd beat them last season. Must admit I've have real worries this time. Some of their results suggest they are pretty pish but we are way worse at this time than last year.

 

I don't think they'd be challenging for top spot this year if they were in the SPL, we have regressed but we're still leagues ahead of them.

 

Now that these scum * are up, i wonder if the league reconstruction will go ahead now that they aren't in danger of staying in the Championship for a 3rd season.

 

i dont see how people can say we are miles ahead of them, we think and hope we are but in reality there might not be as much in it as we think, on the day of the game i will no doubt predict 4-1 celtic.

 

Their recent record against SPL teams is very indicative.

 

this season they have lost to st johnstone, drew with killie, beat killie in a replay, and hammered dundee, so played 4 lost 1 drew 1 won 2.

 

I think people are more worried about what celtic turns up than the huns,they can't defend which is pretty important if you want to win games.recently they've lost 3 goals a game and just bcoz they won the division they play in doesn't hide the fact they can't stop conceding, we might be hot and cold but we don't lose much in the way of goals scored against us,I think we'll win well within ourselves bcoz attitude will be right on the day and in Griffiths we have a guy who scores at the top level never mind against a team with no decent defender, 2-0 again with the same one sided dominant performance.

I refuse to go into this game giving them more respect than they deserve, not every team who beats the second bottom team in the SPL is a threat to us. I think them getting trumped by St. Johnstone is more telling.

 

If this was a league game at home against this filth, I would be full of confidence.

The mix of Hampden, our form & officials does throw a little bit of doubt in my mind though. Like people have mentioned, let's hope the right Celtic show up. Of course, I still believe we will win
