    Anyone know what type of midfielder he is? We should always be looking to strengthen imo, no matter if we have a team full of guys like Scott Allan (who I do like) and Stuart Armstrong in the same position.

    We need more leaders, so the fact that he's captain of his side at 24 is a good sign.

    Copenhagen's player of the year for 2015 also.

    I take it he must be more defensive minded? ..as he only has 10 goals in 138 games.

    Not sure Celtic got the money for him.
    Leicester just bought his sidekick in FC Copenhagen for £6M (Amartey), and he was the 2nd most important central midfielder in the FC Copenhagen squad. (Amartey)

    Delaney was named capt. from the age of 22, on a team fielding Olof Mellberg as well as several established players on the scandinavian national teams.

    Together with Sviatchenko and Daniel Agger, he was prob. a top3 player in the danish league last season, and he's improved in this season as well.

    If Celtic can sign him, he'll be pure gold... just dunno if the prize of gold is to expensive.

    Going by wiki he signed a contract until 2017 which could be January. So maybe somebody we could get on the cheap in the summer perhaps. As people are saying would love another leader in the dressing room. He could be a long term brown replacement.

    Exactly. Let's be honest, Brown and Bitton - how long are they going to be the midfield 2 for?

    Brown is only going to get worse and pick up more injuries etc. Bitton, I can't see him being here past next season.

    Delaney and Ajer maybe the future 2.

    We should definitely be looking to swap our Captain and potentially our most valuable player for a 17 year old and a guy a tabloid has linked us with.

    Brown can't play forever. He's going to be on the way out soon and as I said, I'll be surprised if Bitton is here for much longer.

    At no point did I suggest we replace them with Ajer and this guy.

    I think Brown will move sideways at Celtic into a more permanent coaching role.
    He seems to be enjoying that with the younger lads.
    Biton will be leaving so a new leader in the squad would be a good idea.
    Bring some fresh blood into the place.

    I suggested him before.

    Would love this to happen.

    His contract is up next year and he is willing to move on apparently. Has experience of 8 CL games with Kobenhavn and 10 qualifying games, as well as 17 Europa League games. Kind of player we should be targetting, knows whats expected of a big club.
