I know everyone is jumping straight on Ronny as the fault which is fair enough he hasn't learned from mistakes, changed it up enough or got the team to fight for it especially in the big games.

Even if he is sacked who is going to replace him? It will be a similar style of manager in on the cheap willing to work with youth and develop players. The board have seen the gap in the market that we can exploit and make money from. Getting in cheap young players to develop and sell on for profit to the EPL, possibly getting some Champions League football along the way but not budgeting for it.

The board however is restricted, it's a risky game to budget for CL football and we don't receive enough money from tv deals to help us but the money we made in the last 16 season and player sales should of set us up well.
So in that sense Scottish football limits us just as much as the board.

Just a sense of perspective during a depressing time as a Celtic fan.

Obviously lies at the boards door, they selected him but in truth he has done himself no favours with his negative style of play

With the manager. I believe the squad has enough talent in it for a good manager to get the most out of it. The quality has been steadily declining under Ronny but somebody like Strachan would have a field day with this squad.

Ronny needs to bear a lot of blame for not inspiring fight or drive in the team, as well as his multiple tactical * ups. The board needs to bear blame as well for selling big and not letting any quality signings in.

We need a Strachan type manager who turns average players into CL capable ones.

Ronny is making our better players into worse ones.

We are where we are, but even without a big transfer kitty we should be miles ahead of where we are.

The policy is * idiotic and our board want to hire yes men. They are to blame for most of this mess. However Deila is making a pigs ear of it on the football side of things to the point where I actually dont think we could appoint a worse option.

The board are wanks but Ronny is the main factor.

Our squad is by no means great, but we should be doing a * of a lot better domestically than we are. He never learns from his mistakes.

The manager needs to be someone who gets the best out of the squad he has. That same manager would then be able to get the funds to improve after impressive results. Simple and the board make profit when we sell the star players on.

Do you really think those players such as Van Dijk would have stayed? Would they *, when they signed for us they had one eye on the EPL.

Quality signings in? Kinda hard when we're not getting in the CL and are £15m down per season.

True but Ronny has done well to develop players but he can't seem to do it with the team as a whole which just well just goes to show he isn't up to it as a manager (yet anyway), am sure he would be an excellent assistant and as said before he should of been brought in under an experienced manager instead of thrown in the deep end.

What do you realistically think this squad could achieve?

I'm not saying the manager's not to blame - he is - but I believe this squad is as weak as you'll see a Celtic team.

Strachan had better players at his disposal and we were very tedious to watch, often scoring last minute winners. We don't have one stand-out player, like a Mcgeady or a Nakamura to make things happen.

Yeah when we've needed to step it up we haven't, every loss this season seems to send us into a downward spiral. In January it looked we might of turned a corner again like last season but now back to square 1.
Without a doubt his stubbornness has * us too many times already.

    Who has he developed really?

He's given Tierney a chance, fair enough. But who else?

Some would say Griffiths but he's always been a good goalscorer at this level. His all round game hasn't improved. Bitton is another one that people mention, but even when he had a run of games under Lennon he played just as well as he does now. And this season he has played as many shiters as he has good games.

WGS got to the last 16 with a defence of Telfer, Caldwell, McManus and Wilson/Naylor. Pulled a 0-0 off with Evander Sno and Darren O'Dea in the team with the eventual winners of the Champions League.

That in itself isn't realistic. So it's not a question I can answer seriously.

However, I'd take being able to beat the likes of Malmo for a start.
