ok, ok I may be exaggerating a bit here however I remember the days (1/2 years ago) when a trip to Glasgow on the train was £7.00 RETURN! Since I turned 16 the prices are unbelievable.. I just phoned up National Rail to book some tickets for myself and my Dad to go to Leeds, £79.00 EACH.. They're avin a laugh!

Whenever I go to football matches Celtic & Derby I always go by train because its the cheapest option (Usually anyway) Before I was charged this ridiculas £79 the most I had paid for a train journey was to Preston last year for about £35.00 return.

Is it just me stuck in old times, or are these rices becoming ridiculas.. When you consider that the trains we travel on are absolute * and that trains are considered teh most dangerous way of travelling surley they are charging over the odds on these trains! :icon_evil

You are right Bobo, it is an absolute disgrace! Your best bet would be to join a supporters club and go with them to the Celtic matches, but that price to Leeds is a joke!

Aye, train prices are a rip off. Tenner for a single between Glasgow and Edinburgh.
