It looks like the only 'big' jobs down South will be Villa, with possibly the only other PL jobs being Swansea or WBA, plus Newcastle if they go down.

As you say, it depends whether they want a route straight back to England or if they want a few medals, Glasgow derbies and European football.

Should we not be giving them the money though? Why should they expect any less?

Id rather give the extra money to an established manager with the hope that it pays dividends and we achieve relative success.

Think how much we lost out with Ronny's appointment.

We can do better than Keane.

He's probably on the same level as Deila tactically, and we need a big step up from that.

Personally i disagree. Given our current state of affairs i think his character could be exactly what we need. But i more than understand peoples apprehensions.
If he has saint Martins backing, he has mine.

If Lawwell isn't currently on the phone to Davie Moyes discussing transfer budgets I'll be devestated.

We need to push the boat out to bring him in, he ticks every box going.

The man is reckless, not suited to be a manager, is suited to be someone's right hand man and bark orders i.e captain for fergies utd'd, brief period he was second to MON.

Any other case of where he has been a manager has ended in the squads moral being bombed and players hating the *.

We can't risk that happening to us.

Interesting that Moyes is the bookies' favourite even ahead of Lennon.

Do they know something we don't?

Jump on the bandwagon of "one season" wonder in management.

Michael O'Neill is just flavour of the month right now, needs to prove himself for a few more years before he takes us on.

Probably not, a few punters stuck a few quid on him and now his odds are slashed.

This is the updated odds since the announcement, don't know if anything has changed.

Nah we know it as well. Lennon is a backwards step, Moyes is progression.

Moyes with Lenny as assistant. Ticks everything..

Rodgers and Lenny the exact same..

Personally I don't think Lenny is coming back as number 1..

Moyes, he should have been appointed this week, as for lennon as a number 2 there is no way lennon would accept that after being our manager

would be happy with either Moyes/Rodgers, can't see it though. We'll end up stuck with Keane

The new manager should be appointed within the next couple of weeks, certainly not once the season is finished.
He would need to see the team in actual competitive matches not pre season friendlies.
