Type of big target man we really need, will be intresting if we sign him. Think he could do a job for us and offer something different to what we currently have.

He'd be good for the Scottish game, considering the majority of teams like to camp in their own half and hit us on the break when they can.

We could just throw long balls into him constantly and he'd cause a panic in their defence.

I like his style, I think his play style in Scottish football terms is similar to Gregory tade , he is strong and has quick reactions so he can dent opposition defence, just the fact of ciftci being put before everyone else, I wish we could put ciftci out on loan to recover his form which he has seemed to have lost

 

So you want to Loan out a striker, to take a punt on another striker? We need 3 strikers at the club to compete in all competitions

MONs team had a target man . WGS had a target man. So its nothing new

 

Carlton Cole has scored 57 goals in 259 appearances over a 9 season spell at West Ham. That consists of the absolute peak of his career. If we were to sign a player with that pedigree who we had never heard of we would want him gone te *. Cole has been * for the majority of his career. if this is what we are going to bring in we should have just kept Scepovic.

 

In a different way

 

1 goal every 4.5 games in the EPL for a sub-standard team (in recent years) is still a good feat.

He's not exactly going to be the new Sutton but he'll definitely be a good acquisition.

 

I reckon he'd score near 20+ goals in this league quite easily in my opinion. He has the physique to deal with the physical side of it comfortably which is where most of the strikers we have had recently have struggled.

 

I think his lack of goals comes down to how * West Ham are, too. He still finished their top scorers 4 years in a row from 2009 - 2012.
West Ham score * all goals as a team. In 2013/14 season Nolan finished top scorer on a grand total of 7 goals (Cole had 6 in 9 starts).

Not saying he's going to bang them in for us but with good supply in a team that create a lot of chance, I reckon he could get a few.
