    Met lots of Egyptian players like Abotrika and Emad Meteb who used to live in the same building I did my work experience at years ago so we used to talk for hours about football.
    Met random EPL players in London over the years, Barcsand Xavi when he came to visit Egypt.

    Myself and a few ushers/cashiers got to talk to Strachan quite regulary up at the old Showcase in Coatbridge. Nice guy but kind of intense and didn't really talk about football.

    He did come in one day to give a few of us free tickets for a Celtic vs Hibs game because we gave him free cinema tickets. :50:

    5 or 6 years ago we had Big Billy at our Sportsmanship Dinner, and I had to arrange for his transport to and from his house. I went up with my 12 year old boy to pick the great man up, and he told many stories comin down the M77. He might have been * off I didn't go over 15mph, but a great experience.

    I met him one night in a club in glasgow, he used to eat quite regularly in the restaurant i worked behind the bar in. Being drunk i thought i should go and tell him he eats in my old work. Also said i was a celtic fan but admired him as a footballer who i'd prefer not to play for them and offered to get him a beer. Said not being big headed but i earn a fortune i'll buy you a beer. Had a chat for 5 mins or so about football. Was a great guy when i met him
