Yes, before the games. But only because I had zero expectation after the Malmo and Aberdeen games.

In context of the games - * no. We had both games by the scruff of the neck, but let them both go and shat on our own doorstep with mistakes.

I think 6 points against Molde and we're in a great position to go through. I'm not saying that's likely to happen, but when I saw the group I would've took these results assuming we can get those 6.

Agree I would have taken both results but gutted because we played well enough to get 6 points. I just hope the league now being so tight we have time to make up for our mistakes because we know we are capable.

When you put it like that it does seem like a good point, but I do genuinely think we are as good as a team like Fenerbahce, regardless of the names they have in the squad.

In our last three big European games at home against teams that are generally in the CL Group Stages or Europa after Christmas (Inter, Malmo and Fenerbahce) I think we have been the better team on every occasion. It's just the ridiculous goals that are killing us.

In those 3 games we have conceded 7 goals, 3 were horrendous blunders, 3 from corners and the other was Berget's volley, where our defending was questionable. I'd say football fan's * themselves when they look at our highlights and see the goals we concede.

Correct. Take a draw? We used to turn over bigger teams than this mob at home for fun. We might not have the same talent but keeping the same mentality would do us wonders. Look how many * Man U performances turned into wins because SAF drilled it into them that they were winners

I understand & agree we were on the "front foot" & should have
"put the games to bed" but I'm talking about before the games.

Yes I was expecting a loss today. Especially since Fenerbahce had to concentrate and play theirbest after their shocking performance 2 weeks ago.

You're crazy. They have RVP, Nani, Raul Mer, Alves. We have Griffiths, Forrest, Bitton and Ambrose.

We don't have a team where we can say we "should" win at home against a team like them.

We should win at home. We were two up and looked well capable of it. I dont see the problem?

We will beat Molde twice.. Which will be enough for 2nd place at least.

    IMO.

No. In order to progress we need to win our home games. I'd have looked at it like 'we might lose away to Ajax but we could beat Fenerbahce at home'. Which would have left us 1pt better off than we are now.

That assumption has long been squashed.

Molde aren't in this Group to be a simple 6 points for anyone. In fact if we manage it we'll be the only side to do so and that's after 2 rounds of games.

Draw against Ajax yeah. Draw tonight, no as The Turkish team is going through a hard patch right now.

Most likely, but it doesn't make me any less * off at the fact that we probably should have had 6 points out of 6 so far in this group.

1-0 and then 2-1 up against Ajax, letting them back in both times. Fair enough, we were away from home at a tough venue and they are historically a good side.

Tonight though, 2-0 up at home against a team probably of a similar calibre to Ajax (perhaps not even as good) and we concede two and let them straight back into it. Unacceptable.

We just can't see games out any more, and it's annoying as *.
