Johansen needs to get his act together and start performing like he was last season. Probably now the best player on our books going by his form last season but so far he has been pish.

    Gordon
    Janko Boyata Blackett Izzy
    Mulgrew
    Brown Bitton Johansen
    Forrest
    Griffiths

Would like to see us try this formation.. With Mulgrew protecting our defence and Forrest in free role..
May be too soon for Simunovic

Get control of the middle of the park..

If Lustig was 50/50 for the Malmo game he should be fit for this. I would go :

    Gordon
    Lustig Boyata Simunovic Izzy
    Brown Biton
    Forrest Johansen Armstrong
    Ciftci/Griffiths

Perhaps but Blackett has played a few times for Man U so is probably more use to high pressure situations and is left sided..

    I see him being a L/CB..

Anyway the main thing is we play a tighter formation.

Whatever happens we will be going into this with a new CB pairing, most likely Boyata and Simunovic.

So I hope they get pally quick. Send them on an orienteering weekend during the break, for * sake. Anything.

    Gordon
    Lustig Boyata Simunovic Izaguirre
    Brown Bitton
    Forrest Johansen Armstrong
    Griffiths

Subs - Bailey, Ciftci, Allan, Commons, Mackay-Steven, Rogic, Mulgrew.

That is sadly going to be our strongest XI for me.

I have a horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach that he'll start Ambrose.

A draw would be a good result. Don't think we'll win.

What do you think the attendance will be mate? And will the Ajax fans likely be utter scumbags to us again?

I'd take a draw now, can't see it though, will be interesting to see how our defence copes, not overly confident going into it over the course of the last European game and our transfer activity.

    I would take a draw.

A win would be out of this world though, bearing in mind we're at Aberdeen on the 12th.

Our potential qualification from the group will rely strongly on our home games. 3 out of 3 victories at home is possible. As we know, 9 times out of 10 under the Parkhead floodlights, our players deliver.

Our main issues are defending and killing teams off when we have an advantage.
