CBGBs in New York. The bands I saw there were mostly garbage but when you have a deep appreciation for the venue and the history of the place, it was a magical experience. The last time I was there, they closed like 6 months after I left. Incredible.

The Rez was * shady as * run by dirty Hibs casuals...

Remember driving back from the Metro you'd always see an XR2 in a field.:smiley-laughing002:

Saw the Prodigy in the Metro in about 95 when swedgers were sweet.

Club 69 in Paisley. Before the smoking ban you could skin up without any hassle and there were never any neds or arseholes in the place. One night I was leaving whilst out my nut on eccies and drink so I was staggering through the crowed trying to get out. I shoulder barged a guy quite hard on the way out (it was an accident) I turned round and apologised and he gave me a friendly pat on the back. I think that in any other place the guy would have tried to start a fight. Club 69 always had a decent crowed of people going there.

This. Been going since it opened and before that the Clubhouse when Funk d'void used to be called Dj Lars.

Other than that Cream, The Venue, Subbie, Arches, Zap Club, Melkweg, Sankeys and Fabric.

They were, some still are, cool as *.
