    Do we have to get rid of him though? Why can't he be a squad player?

    I want better and hopefully we have that now in Sinclair but every squad needs competition.

    On this form I'm more than happy to have him as a squad player. Still think we need another wide man in to have:

    Roberts
    Sinclair
    Forrest
    ?

    Have to consider the fact that Pat will be away this time next year, better to get someone in and settled now, IMO.

    Read the posts on here from the first half of last season. Everyone was praising him. Erik Sean even saying he was a contender for POTY and believe me, praise from Erik Sean is like * gold dust. :smiley-laughing002:

    Aye that's a good point. I wouldn't be averse to going with those 3 and a youth player as the 4th choice but with Paddy leaving then it makes sense to have a replacement lined up.

    Maybe January though, we need to spend money on other areas of the team right now.

    GMS is another that can improve under Rodgers. Then hopefully Miller and Nesbitt will have broken into the first team or get there chance by next season.

    In all seriousness, if he can play the way he did today on a more consistent basis and show the same desire, then aye great. I hope he does. Him, Sinclair and Roberts could do a lot of damage.

    If he can play like that week in and week out then he was be fantastic. He has had the promise for a number of years maybe Rodgers is the man to finally turn all the raw talent into a good player.
