    Not sure about this.

    I agree about Jackie Mac 100%. He was there today in his job trying to win for Utd. However that is different to some of those you have listed above.

    I actually wondered today whether Big John might have a word with himself after today. Tanner said he had been critical of Ronny earlier in the season and Hartson pointed out he wasn't the only one. This is true but hopefully Hartson will learn that some in the media will be his mate and massage his ego when they want him to criticise Celtic but will turn on him quick enough when it suits.

    Nevin is a * ( but wasn't too bad today.)

    Does anyone know why we always have the right hand section of the stadium as you see on the tele?

    Yasssss! Utd made a fist of it but class told in the end. Delighted Broony turned it on, not sure if Stokes did well or was pish. Guidetti is a * weirdo

    Performance was scattershot (much better in the second-half, though), but who cares? First of three in the bag. :celt_2: Stokes, I thought, was decent; Forrest took his goal well, though I hope he never takes a penalty again. Fair do's Ceirzniak again, though.

    Congrats to all. Was borrowing smart phones all around the place at the b-day party to keep up with the score this afternoon. Very pleased with the outcome. Up to the treble!!

    great day today. Nice to see Broony stick it to the hacks and their shoddy attempts to disrupt his run up to the game. Thats the 1st part done. Hopefully 2 more big Ronny Roars to come in the next couple of months.

    They only showed a couple on the telly but it sounded like he done it about 6 different times. :smiley-laughing002:

    Jackie MacNamara is a moaning *. Forever making excuses and pointing fingers at everyone else when it's his own side that's a disgrace.

    Job done. Thought we played well within our capabilities today and yet comfortable winners. Pretty sloppy at times with our play but in Cup Finals it's winning the trophy that matters most.

    Defensively rarely troubled. Izzy doing more of his work in the opposition half and Ambrose after a ropey 5 or 10 mins came onto a good showing. Denayer and Virgil had little trouble with the United forwards. Indeed Virigil's most prominent moments in the game were the header off the line and the occasions he stepped forward from the back. I mentioned pre-match in his thread about Brown,Bitton and Johansen controlling the game. That's exactly what they did. Brown and Bitton were more background work, winning the ball and retaining it when required. Yet key to the outcome of the game.

    Johansen gave us what he has done for months now. Always looking for the killer ball pass.Laid the ball on a plate for Forrest goal.

    Commons took his goal well, thought his general play was below his usual standard. Griffiths ran about without much success(likes an offside or five during a game).Nicked in ahead of the goalie on the pass back, thought he could have taken a touch to give him a better angle to shoot. The service into him at times wasn't great, in the air rather than into feet. Stokes flattered in patches, although did combine well with Izzy through out. Does some good things then makes some terrible choices at times. All was forgotten when along with Izzy they ripped the hole out of McGowan, with a series of back heels and passes.

    Forrest scored and tried to go passed the defender on the outside for a change. Then after all that good work he hit a hoaching penalty!!! Guidetti never had much influence on the game. A decent wee lay off for a shot towards the end. Biggest moment was wee Forrest not letting hit the penalty. Appeared to sulk off after the whistle, although he did reappear with his phone.

    Anyway, Cup Finals are all about winning!!!

    Untied carried on in same vain as last week. Making it difficult to breakdown and play on the counter. Got a bit of joy on occasions, mostly in the 1st half and in injury time. Aside from the 50/50 with Rankin, Gordon had very little to deal with. A side they also kept up from last week was the dirty * challenges. Butcher had a few kicks at Broony in the midfield and got no reaction. McGowan kept up his side with a * poor tackle from behind on Brooony, likewise Patton. McGowan in particular could have joined his pal Dillion in the changing rooms.

    * them!!!
