massive amount of players could and will leave next season

Think the game today showed that some of the players - at Celtic performances aren't matching their wages and had me in a typical rant but it got me thinking we're going to (and may aswell) lose a * ton of players come next season, then had me wondering is it a bad thing?

Our own players;
Izaguire, stokes, Forrest, Scepovic aren't up to it. I'd like to see them moved on in the summer and the funds from each used to give Deila the ones he wants.

Loaned players;
Guidetti, Wakaso, Tonev, Denayer. All expected to leave in the summer too (think I'm missing one?). Guidetti and Denayer both first team players.

Deadwood;
Guys like, boerigter, Balde, Pukki, Fridj, were never good enough from the start and need to be shifted.

We're also likey to lose Van Dijk too in the summer.

This is a massive amount of players taking up space and money that could be put to better use. Example, Armstrong and GMS have given the majority of Celtic players a showing up since coming here and are likely to be on half as much as stokes or Forrest and we didn't look as sharp without them.

hopefully we see the youth accademy getting the cobwebs brushed off it and a few lads can come through but even if there isn't, i think this season has shown that there is a few gems here in Scotland that could do a better job than some guy from * knows where.

 

Absolutely no way that many people are leaving at the end of the season.

Loans and deadwood will leave, hopefully improve the first team with 3 or 4 players.

At least one of Forrest , Stokes and Scepovic will be shifted if a buyer comes in imo .

1-2 Strikers
1 more creative midfielder/winger

 

Hope we can add but to be honest, would you be arsed if we got money for the above? I really think we'd be better without them. stokes is a laughing stock.

 

Harsh on Scepovic, he hasn't had a run of games. He's not looked brilliant but 4 goals in 6 starts is more than decent.

 

While we're at it why dont we punt the gym equipment at Lennoxtown

So much quantity and hardly any quality.

I'd happily see the back of Wakaso, Izzy, Stokes, Mulgrew, Forrest, Scepovic, Tonev, Boerigter, Balde, Pukki, Fridjonson (did he even get a game?) and any kids who aren't going to make it. None of the loanees deserved to be signed except Denayer but I doubt there's much chance of that.

I'd still take Guidetti actually on a free as he's worth a couple million in the current market but he needs to buck his ideas up.

Desperately need a new LB and a cracking striker with pace. We should have a core squad of no more than 18 players and supplement with academy boys. We spend millions on Lennoxtown and consistently win youth tournaments yet never see anyone coming through. In the last decade I can only think of Forrest, McGeady and Maloney who have become first team players and Mulgrew - who had to leave and the come back years later and has since turned * again anyway.

Ronny was hired explicitly to bring through the kids yet the only one he's given a debut to is McGregor who has been dropped and out of the picture since before xmas. Not good enough.

Exactly. People a advocating punting regular starters and contributors to go as well. We need stability. Forrest, Stokes, Izzy will be going nowhere nor should they. Virgil has to stay until after the qualifiers as well. It is very important that we are stable going into the european games and not punting half our squad some of which will start or at least be used.

 

I wouldnt sell all three of them players on bold . Would get shot of Forrest , and if a good offer came in for Stokes i would take it . Keep Izzaguirre as long as another LB is brought in to fianlly push him/replace him . Its all about evolution.

 

Its the same few lunatics that stand up for the dross week after week .
