Sell borrighter, mcgregor, mcgeouch an send wakaso back an get bakkali an mcgeady in. Mulgrew in center back will be like a new signing an pair him with hopefully denayer/vvd assuming we keep one of them. Get a left back in an a fast striker that has ability to run at defences. DO NOT SIGN FAT GUIDETTi

    He is

Only seen him play 3 times did good against Lamb but was non existent against Coleman and Clyen so he must only be useful against players he's miles faster than wouldn't be against it but wouldn't pay more than 1 million for him would probably be useless domesticly considering how far back opposing full backs seem to play

What about getting a young striker through the youth team? Or that Duffy boy?

LB, 2 Centre backs and a creative midfielder (like lubo or naka, although I realise thats easier said than done.).

I would like to see us try to keep all of our players for next season. it will be hard, but with some good luck it might not be impossible.

We have a very young team. Our starting 11 against Inter away must have been the youngest team in the competition.

If we can keep them, we are sure to keep improving even if we don't buy anyone new.

Then I would like us to keep looking for and buying the best domestic talent. We have to be awake and alert and make sure european teams dont snaffle players like Gauld straight out from under our nose.

Can't see anyone in the domestic leagues at the moment though.

Well, that Ryan Jack has only just turned 23 and may turn into a player, perhaps...could be good cover for brown / Biton.

Most important thing is for our players to maintain this level of fitness going into the qualifiers.

I think Van Dijk will leave and Denayer isn't our player so I think we need at least 1 quality centre back in. Mulgrew/Ambrose can cover but we need a Van Dijk replacement.

I think we'll need a proper lone striker as well, I don't think Guidetti will stay and Griffiths as much as I love his attitude I think he has a glass ceiling.

Agreed, Lustig can play CB too if he stays fit. In some ways Mathews is more suited to the way Ronny wants to play because if his pace.

I think you right about Griffiths too an important squad player but need another striker.

Would like some more depth at DM too, maybe someone with a bit of European experience.

My guess when it comes to Denayer is that there is communication with City along the way, and they have every reason to be happy with his development here at Celtic, so as long as he's not urgently needed at City, they will let him stay on here for another year.

If we have been getting signals that he is going back to City or going somewhere else, i think we would have seen the club being much more aggressive in the january window to sign a replacement.

So no news could be good news when it comes to our central defenders.

The signals coming from Denayer himself is he won't be here next season.

He has said more than once that he wants to be at city. Unless they pie him and a club in a better league doesn't come in, it wont happen.

Fortunately it is not his decision to make if he is good enough for City's first team or not.

I have a feeling the decision has already been made, and that it's a negative for him at least for the first half of next season.

They have reasonably good defenders at City so it is not easy for a 19 year old to walk into the first team.

I think we need someone better than Izzy. Denayer. A VVD replacement who is experienced. Gudetti on a bosman. Sorted. Maybe a defensive midfielder as well.
