Have a look at our penalty statistics,woeful in the league, Commons has take 9 and only scored 1 Stokes taken 6 only scored 1, in the cup Commons has put away 3 out 3 though. Armstrong, Guidetti, Bitton and Johansen would be top of my list to take a penalty.

Holy * that game was made harder than it should have been. By that I mean the officials made a rip roaring * of it.

First off the sending offs. Linesman made a complete * up and Thomson went with him. Two Red Cards, one for Van Dijik for what the coverage made out was a "stamp" and Patton(a * * and wee shitebag) when he done * all but behave like a grass bag. Ciftci kicked Brown in the face( unlike many others he didn't make much of it at the time) and stayed on.

Thomson can escape blame for that * but obviously unhappy with the linesman stealing his limelight, he proceeded to give a penalty for * all. On 4 separate occasions (prior to the dive that got them the penalty) that wee * went down like he been * pole axed. Despite the bullshit talked by Michael O'Neil at halftime, there wasn't any contact or challenge made. Well done to Ronny with his comments post match, it was a clear dive. * was cheating the whole game.

Two folk turned the game into a * storm by being * hopeless. The inconsistency in the refs decisions today was unreal.

Second half we pushed for the equaliser. The argument that it wasn't deliberate, well if it wasn't for his arm it would have been in the * net. Not sure if Griffiths wasn't unnerved by the amount of mucking about Dixon took to leave the field. While it was a decent save, I don't think it was the best of penalties. Anyway, what a * header for the equaliser. Great ball from Johansen as well to set it up. Was a bit disappointed with our play after the goal, spent a lot of the time trying through the middle and down the right for my liking. Thought we could have used more of Izzy up against Ciftci on the left.

Couple a good chances to win it but the goalie made a couple of saves.

Shitehole of a park, Shithole of officiating and shithole of Sky Sports coverage!!! That Michael O'Neil must have been out his tattie if he thought 4 folk should have been sent off. Also his attempt to convince folk it was a penalty was pathetic. We talk about the game being blighted by diving, but make excuses when clear instances occur. Tanner is an utter cretin.

Do they do retrospective action? Im remember Loovens getting a ban for a kick out at Edu once.

If so Brown might get banned alongside Virgil.

For them, Cifti and the guy that should have been sent off, along with the hand ball.

Not related to the thread and probably a long shot but has anyone got tickets for sale for the final?

 

More disappointed in some of our performances than the officials but we really should've buried them.

We'd have lost that game last season so happy to see them get back into it and keep us in the cup.

 

Was disappointed in Brown the 2nd half every pass went sideways or backwards,can he not take a shot ffs or a forward pass?

 

Jackie is a winner and a professional and every right to feel aggrieved after the decisions today.

And he was spot on about Brown he sparked the incident and could have easily seen red and cost us the treble.

 

McNamara's anything but a winner as a manager.

You just have to speak to any United fan and they'll tell you how weak mentally their team is.

 

They weren't weak mentally today. Lucky maybe, but not weak. They'll have to do without Ciftci for the final and probably the replay too. We'll miss some players but we have a stronger squad then them too. We should win this.

 

He's done well, it must be difficult when keep losing your top players. If GMS and Armstrong were playing for United today we would be out the cup, the way we played.

Good mentality to hold out today with 9 men.
