Chris Sutton did try and make a name for himself with being outspoken. He went over the top too often.

He's settled down now and making a lot of sense.

I agreed with every single word he said tonight. Love the big man.

He's very blunt and there's nothing wrong with that. He's hurting like the rest of us who want better than we are doing.

I wouldn't like to appoint a manager based on how good a pundit he is. His track record in management is not good and for me this is more important than being an ex celt who tells us what we want to hear.

I'd love to have him in and around the back room staff though. He's somebody Ronny could be doing with, somebody who doesn't really see the game the same way as him, is a born winner and wants to get the job done. Ronny is a big fan of the word balance, there's no balance in the dug out just now. We have a couple of fitness fanatic fantasists in Collins and Ronny.

Genuinely (and this isn't an exaggeration) I can't think of any ex Celtic players I would want anywhere near the Club less than Chris Sutton.

A failure as a Manager and a Coach, a divisive and grating character that is ultimately a massive WUM. He is literally the last person we need.

Thankfully there isn't even the slightest prospect of him going from a colour commentator on BT Sports to Celtic's backroom staff.

As divisive characters go, we've got one of the biggest ones as assistant manager just now. As it is, when Sutton was with us I don't think he was divisive at all.

If striving for high levels of fitness and performances is classed as divisive we may as well lock the gates and call it a day.

The guys that see that as divisive need to go, not Collins.

That's his plus points, you can do that while still being a divisive *.

I've yet to see or hear 1 piece of credible evidence which backs up this commonly held opinion.

Other than the Hibs squad raging at the fact he had them doing double sessions and the fact he was showing off his 6 pack.

Chris Sutton has absolutely nothing that can back him up as having any sort of ability or credentials to be a coach at Celtic. Just because he talks sense when commentating doesn't mean he can coach well.

If he wasn't a successful ex-Celtic player no-one would even mention him as a potential coach for us.

Aye, folk crying out for him to be manager as well need to settle down.

He flopped at Lincoln then gave it up, not made out for it. Having him and Ronny on the same coaching team as well would only cause us more problems I reckon. Two don't really see eye to eye I don't think after that raging battle they had over comments and performances last season.

I agreed with what he said last night but he was only saying what many thousands of fans feel too. He should stick to punditry.
