I live in Bristol, was at a club and the DJ said 'I was going to play 3 lions just now, but I don't thonk its appropriate, so I'll play Michael Jackson instead.' It was * being around this mob on Sat, but today brought a nice, big smile to my face.

 

I never said it on here but I said it to several friends or anyone that would listen for that matter (they dont care about England) that Steve McClaren would be fired after the Euro 08 campaign, didnt say anything on wether they would qualify or not, I didnt think it would matter. I just thought that England would have a better selection of managers to choose from in 2 years time and the quality of football they'd play would prompt the FA to have a think about it.

What are the odds of England going after Scolari again or even Jose Mourinho.... fair better choices for them and they know it.

I cannot understand why anybody would even contemplate giving McClaren the sack. The man is a football genius. I think he should be given a lifetime contract by the england fa.

I stayed up till 4 am yesterday being just too happy to go to sleep after we kicked out those smug english * out of Euro 08. :icon_mrgreen:

Makes it even better because they were gloating when Scotland was eliminated and now they have a taste of their own medicine. It is really too bad that Scotland is not on Euro since you have always had a hearty team, but hopefully this England disaster helps a little.

I firmly believe there is sucha a thing as sport justice - you become too self confident and cocky like England and eventually you will have that arrogance stuffed down your throat. And I am really, really glad it was Croatia who stuffed it down their throat in the centre of London.
