    Salzburg are a quality side.

We we're hardly 'pumped' by them. The 1-3 scoreline heavily flattered them as we performed really well from Johansen's goal to there third in the final minutes.

We definitely need to improve. Ronny needs more time but I think Devlin touches on something when he says he can't see much improvement. TBH I can't either. The only improvements I have seen are the return of Brown and the loans of Denayer and Guidetti, which was enough to start winning games, but other than that there really isn't much improvement to see.

At a pinch, the one thing Ronny can take credit for is the understanding that has developed between Izzy and Stokes on the left.

He needs time but so far the signs are not encouraging IMO.

As for Aberdeen, I repeat: they don't actually have to be as good as us to win the title if they have a better attitude and organisation and grind out results. It is too early to say if they will challenge and I for one do not rule it out (though most likely they will fade), we need to improve and not rely on them faltering.

    Youl never walk alone.

So would you agree with supporters breathing down his neck, behind in the table (possibly 4 points at the weekend), his first old firm around the corner and two games against inter, that Ronny is under pressure?

People love harping on about "possibly 4 points behind"- aye well if Aberdeen (shockingly!) lose for the SIXTH (already?! I thought they were this brilliant team) time in the league this season, then we can go 2 points ahead with a game in hand.

The quality of our squad, imo, is the problem. It's not Deila not being a good manager or Aberdeen being so good we need to worry. Our big problem is a major lack of creativity and flair in our squad.

Dont really give a * about Aberdeen. Sure, in Pawlett,McGinn Goodwillie etc they have some good players but i only give q * about us. We are capable of going on a right good run and if we do that then we will be ok. Not panicking but methinks we need a really good transfer window for everyones sake.

That is the crux of the matter ,we shouldn't even be talking about a race whether you are happy to see one or not ,at the start of the season the bookie odds against us would be crazy and you would be locked up if you bet against us .
At this point we can say we we are now watching closely where we wouldn't have to before ,that's not arrogance ,there should be no race and I don't think the teams close to us have got much better ,we have declined and no rangers hearts or his means mid table teams can go on a run now and develop a winning mentality that pushes u on and builds confidence.

We are celtic fans we all want to see us do well and want Ronny to succeed ,it's patience vs Impatience ,some fan's are hoping for a bright future developing our own and are willing to wait it out, but at the possible loss of the title I don't think so ,the rest want to see a manager make immediate improvement to our team ,shape, style ?whatever but it's slow and hard to see any improvement, this is the problem.

No its not we have good players in our team and I don't get this lack of creativity thing either

    Guidetti
    Stokes
    Commons
    Forrest

are all capable players of creating chances out of nothing.

    VVD
    Izzy
    Lustig

Can create when attacking to an extent.

The quality of squad is not the issue it's how we are setting up to play and how our players are being utilised.

Would you agree that anybody that manages Celtic is immediately
    under massive pressure?

I thought it went with the job. Or were all the other managers
doing the equivelant of sat on their dads yacht smoking a joint & sipping champagne.

We played some amount of * under Lennon and had some pretty horrendous results. * sake man we lost against Utrecht and Braga(a think), and who can forget being 3-0 down to Killie and losing the semi at Hampden(Raith Rovers?). Not to mention getting beat off of Morton. After 120 minutes. Lennon got his time and done a job. Deila should get the same imo

Every one of them except Commons plays as much as possible and manages to create chances. I would mention Johansen as well. Our problem right now is Guidetti's bad spell and that Forrest (and Lustig) can't play consistently. We are a bit overreliant on Stokes for creativity as a result. We need someone on the right to supplememt Forrest.

And Ronny needs to be given a bit of time.
