Same mate. I am sick with worry too. Gale blowing outside and we are second in the league, it has ruined my New Year. Can I change my 4 to a 10 ?

We had a poor start to the season, why dwell on that? We've won 8 of our last 9 league games.

Aberdeen are on a great run which won't last forever. There's nothing Deila can do about that. We're the only team who have scored on Aberdeen in the league since the 17th of October.

Even at that, in Lennon's first season he had to completely rebuild the team after the Mowbray debacle. We were pipped to the post by Deadco after an entertaining season where we amassed over 90pts and won the Scottish Cup.

Deila has taken over a winning team. People can moan about how we weren't entertaining to watch at points last season and it all got a little stale, I'd agree to some extent but at the end of the day it was still a strong, winning team that blew everyone else in Scotland away.

I'm not writing Deila off yet, not at all but questions need to be asked of him. We've got 12pts worse off in the space of a year with only a few changes in the respective starting XI's..

Don't let facts get in the way from the slavering ramblings of drama queens.

Well that cant be true because our last game was a draw and the game before that we were beat.

You see this is why it's considered bad style to mix metaphors. I had this bizarre image of him landing in the middle of the Ocean feet first. Of course I understood what you meant after a few seconds thought, but couldn't get that image out of my head.

I do agree with you that there weren't any facts in your posts, it wasn't my intention to give that impression, totally my fault for not being clearer. :50:

He hasn't actually done "* all" though, has he? What he did in Norway was a remarkable achievement. Of course it remains to be seen whether he can replicate that success at a big club like ours.

Forgot about the Ross County game, forgive me.

We played 4-4-2 in that game which didn't work out. We were missing Forrest and Stokes who are absolutely crucial to what Ronny wants to do with the side. Monday they'll (hopefully) be back and we'll be back to winning ways.

Lennon got a significant amount of money in his first season to rebuild the team.

    Ronny hasn't.

No. His * style of fitbaw and his ridiculous negative comments. Also when comes up to the crowd finger blasting himself when we win games. Do that when we win big games but no beating motherwell.

We were extremely lucky to beat Aberdeen, have you forgotten that already ?. Have you forgotten Aberdeen knocked us out of the Scottish Cup at Parkhead last year comfortably under McInnes?

Aberdeen look a far more composed, cohesive and welded unit to me.

Yeah, it's almost as if they've given their manager time to build a cohesive unit :smiley-laughing002:

Because of his stubborn insistence on playing his way (for which our players aren't really suited), he also is effectively having to rebuild a whole team. Where I agree with you is that he really shouldn't be doing things that way IMO. That Norwegian lad thinks he's building a team for next year. If that's true, he's playing a dangerous game and clearly hasn't grasped the difference between managing a big club and Stromsgodset.

Only off the back of the McGeady transfer.

Lennon got more than enough funding.

We beat Aberdeen. Away. With 10 men. Have you forgotten that already?

Yup, they strolled it. 2-1, they absolutely strolled it mate. Not sure what relevance that has though considering Lennon was our manager and it was 11 months ago.

Not really sure what you're trying to get at to be honest.. If you genuinely think Aberdeen are a better side than us you're far more pessimistic than I feared.

Lennon left at the right time.

It's a forum, you muppet. Backing your opinions up and considering the views of those posters who do bother to provide reasons for their views is what it's all about, otherwise it's just a bunch of people talking to themselves. It's not about Brownie points FFS. :smiley-laughing002:
