alot of women are great footballers.

however, and i must stress this, the physical side of the mens game is probably a little to much, well whats left of it.

think of the implications, do teams have to have separate changing rooms?
will the men be more hesitant to go into a challenge with a woman?

 

Yeah ok, i play footie, so do a lot of girls. But football in general, like with the teams and stuff is more of a men's game imo. Same as Netball is womens. I never really watch the ladies teams. I'm just not as interested. The boys are far better to look at anyway

Kind of. The only similarity is that you have to get the ball in the hoop. But in netball you aren't allowed to run with the ball and there is a few other rules which are different to basketball. I'm not too sure though, don't like it myself

 

Sorry Katie but I watched a few matches in the recent World Cup and the standard of play was very poor, it was on par with a schoolboy international tournament. The defenders can't defend and the goalkeepers are * awfull. Yes it was entertaining and there is the odd player with some skill on the ball but it is like watching a Premiership game in slo mo! Physical strength and speed on the ball is the key and ladies cannot hope to compete with men without a bucket load of testosterone over a few months. Gregory's girl is a fiction! When woman can run marathons in 2 hours 10 mins or sprint sub 10 secs WITHOUT DRUGS then I might rethink my opinion. Having said that a few of those lassies could run rings round me with a ball but I would whip them re speed.
