Avoid Gumtree if I were you mate. There's a * on there now going by the name of Connor and also using other aliases who has been fleecing fans the past few days. Claims to have between 1-4 tickets needs to be sold asap.

He has a google map up showing his location as eg Airdrie someone phones and agree a price then buyer is asked where he is. Then seller says ahh he's stuck in eg Inverness but convinces people to transfer money direct to a bank account with the promise to send ticket special delivery.

Seller by all accounts is very convincing and sadly people are being fooled into sending money.

I'm told he's been using Tesco disposable mobile numbers so easy enough to change the number in the ads on Gumtree once he's sucked a few in and got their cash.

So unless someone agrees to meet in person and hand over tickets don't be a fool and give some lowlife * your money upfront.

Aye usually I wouldn't go near it but nearing last chance saloon!

I can see how convincing these * can be and it's an easy target people desperate for briefs, but really, they shouldn't be able to have any success. Best rule like you say is to meet in person but it can be simple as asking for a photo of the tickets with a personalised message written down.

Seen a guy get done for over £200 for tickets that never came. Obviously these * prey on 13/14 year olds or older folk with no idea and it might be harsh but anyone sending large quantities of dosh to strangers with no proof of product is asking to be bumped. People need to wise up sometimes.

S'alright every * who wastes my time will be selling a key of gear on Topix :smiley-laughing002:

If anyone can help? I've a corporate ticket that I paid £170 for but I'd like to swap it for 2 tickets and I'll give some cash on top.

I've an aussie mate that I want to bring along. I've been offering cash on collection to the ones advertised online but they want paying on paypal so they can * right off!!

I'd swap my corp and 100 cash for 2 tickets off someone trustworthy.

It will cost me almost £300 for flights, hotel, ticket, taxis and airport parking and a lot of Irish fans the same. If people really wana see a game they will pay what it costs, but I don't think I would give someone £200 for a ticket. Rip off and should not me allowed.

That it's a semi is irrelevant, they are/would be paying it because it's the zombies.

Absolute wallopers as is anyone that sends money to someone selling tickets on gumtree or similar.

    Alright Bhoys,

Only ever been to Hampden once and it was a Aberdeen game so no trouble and not a major policing event!

Not too sure what to expect on Sunday but I have a train booked from Glasgow central back to London at 17:38. whats the best (quickest & safest) way? Have I left enough time? :celt_2:

If you are in good shape, you could walk it in less than an hour, but you would need to leave almost immediately after the final whistle and be sure you know the way. It is about 2.5 miles. I am unsure about what would be the safest way.
