Just noticed when looking through Europa qualifications as well as CL that Derry City. although they play in Republic of Ireland league and are based in Northern Ireland, any coefficient they earn goes to the Republic of Ireland.
Bet Norther Irish FA are * off

They get a league of Ireland qualifying place so the IFA have no reason to care

Should just have an All-Ireland league I say most of the northern teams wouldn't want to play in it becomes they would get hammered instead of any political reasonings

    They could not afford it.

Loi is years ahead of the Irish league.

I agree we should have just the one league. It would raise interest and crowds all around. Not saying things would suddenly be all fine and dandy. But it would help I think. Although it does have to be said that in the Setanta Cup which is the All Ireland Cup competition the Irish teams really have dominated over the last few years.

It take 5 years before the rankings come off.
That is what is happening with Oldco rankings.
The Sevconians think it's their rankings that is in UEFA ranking table but it is actually Oldco's. Sevco havent played in Europe so they can't be ranked (except rotten :icon_mrgreen:)
It will still be there until 2017/2018.

    Same as most clubs.

    Decent crowds when playing well.

I've always thought Derry wasn't much of a GAA city.I think they would be more into football. You'd need to ask one of the Derry lads on here. Derry City get good crowds especially when they're doing well and have good fans. I'm not sure of the attendances to GAA matches though.
