The Clash, it * kills me I will never get to see them live, even if it had just been Joe Strummer and The Mescaleros I would be happy but I was far too young too appreciate him when he died :54:

Beatles. 8 years, 12 albums and they changed music, and the world.

    Eminem.

With the way society's going it'll be along time before another generation grow up with an artist as brutal as that and have such a big impact. Random kids in schools in Glasgow bleaching their hair because of him :smiley-laughing002:. Unreal.

    LOL!

I see a lot of Justin Beiber hairdos :) And I remember more slipknot tee shirts than Eminem haircuts ;)

    As for the OP...

Mogwai. No doubt about it. First thing I heard wasthe 'No education, no future (* the curfew)' ep and I knew right away I'd found my favourite band. They have been around for a long time without losing it and they manage to come up with something fresh on every new record. Still sound like the same good old band though. From the slow melancholic stuff to the wall of noise it's the most beautiful music I've ever heard.

So many excellent artists and bands that have followed me through life. Some have really influenced me big time and still do, although some of them are dead by now.

a really difficult question to answer, but I choose Iron Maiden.

    The Dubliners.

I find it hard to like more then a few songs from most people but anything from the Dubliners I'd listen to
