I like the flower of scotland, the only problem i have with it is it's often out of step. Can't stand the American one cringe all the way through it. The worst is GSTQ just so dull and pathetic words. Brazil is quite funny.

100% agree with that, best two anthems by a mile. When the Welsh are in full cry its hairs on the back of the neck stuff.

Still say our anthem should be Caledonia wae Frankie Miller :50:

The problem with Scotland's army is that no one can sing it in time. The pipes can't keep up with the pace of the supporters and it ends up sounding bad.

Scot's Wha Hae would be a great choice for the national album.

Used to say stuff like "long live our soviet motherland" ect. Obviously they've changed the words but the tune is still the same

I find the German, Italian and French anthems quite stirring in part. As a national anthem should aim to be. Never felt stirred by any Scottish anthem really. Of the home nations I would say Land of my fathers is best.

    I'd rather Freedom Come-All-Ye. Anti-imperialist, internationalist, forward-thinking - what Scotland should be.

I quite like Flower of Scotland but frankly it's a bit of red neck having that particular song as our national anthem when we didn't even have the stones to "rise now and be the nation again" last September. Too many of our countrymen have become wee sleekit cow'rin tim'rous beasties.
